I disagree about Armstrong benefitting from Parsons. While I am sure it has some effect the dude is just overpowering people on his way to the QB!

That can be an interesting discussion by itself. Don’t know how to feel about that topic. While, It can be said that Parsons is allowing other DE’s to get one on one matchups with the OL…but with that being said, if Armstrong, Fowler, and others are winning their one on one matchups, how much can we credit Parsons? Would they be drawing double teams if there were no Parsons? Even if they started drawing double teams, would that just leave another DE with a one on one matchup? Hmmmm.

Clark has a ways to go IMO. You can see the talent but he looks like the rookie he is out there sometimes. I think it's going to take a few more games of him playing to really see where he is at and what kind of player he is.

Conversely, Williams is getting better each and every game. It would not surprise me if we saw him starting opposite Lawrence by the end of the year.

Sam Williams is a rising star, no doubt. He looks strong, fast, and aggressive.

Damone Clark has been playing, but he hasn't flashed at all for me. That's not necessarily all bad, though. He's been in the game and playing without ending up on the big screen. The fact that he's on the field at all is amazing. Not ending up on the big screen because he gets blown by on every play is a bonus, too.

This is the perfect type of gamble for me. 5th round. Skills were there. Some red flag, whether medical or something else pushed them down the boards. But you didn't plop down a second round pick. If Clark becomes a serviceable back, he's a huge get. He seems to be much further along than I expected. Which is AWESOME! But I don't see a star yet.

Clark had no OTAs, mini camps, training camp or preseason. He stepped on the field halfway through the season coming off of disk fusion surgery.

He needs more than a few weeks, hater.

But I will say I like that he seems to put in the work. As a pro that's what separates you so I'm hoping
I agree he is on the correct path, fingers are crossed that all the dots will connect for him. What a great set of tools he has to begin with on this journey.
