You peeps do realize that it was our medical staff that identified Clarks condition, and that recognition dropped his value significantly.
We then grabbed him as he descended down draft boards in the bottom of the 5th.
Not saying it was dirty business, but it was a very clever way possibly to obtain a potential top talent late in a draft, better than spending a 2nd
like we usually do.

Williams looking better and better each game. They are bringing him along, and using him correctly so far.
Have not notice much on Clark, except when they call his name. Hoping Cox can get into that mix as well.
Clark is a straight up run stopper. Fast as hell. Hopefully the middle of this defense will no longer be a sieve. Like it has been for a long time.

Sam Williams has some Charles Haley nasty to him.. That dude is finna be a top 10 DE in the league in a minute. I have not rewatched the game to evaluate Clark yet but the fact that I didn't see Dalvin Cook setting sail on a any long runs tells me he held his own. Cook had a decent outing but a lot of it was garbage time.. I mean we were up 34 points by the middle of the 3rd quarter and they were still running.. so his numbers have to be taken with a grain of salt.

I can't say enough about how excited I am about Williams.. He just LOOKS like a badass defensive end. He seems like he's about to become everything we HOPED Randy Gregory would.. minus the affinity for bong hits.

Like I have said before, Sam W. reminds me of a LOT of Frank Clark

This DE rotation is looking pretty good. I wasn't expecting much from Williams but he's exceeded expectations.

LVE is gone after this season unless he takes a super friendly deal to be a backup. Damone if he stays healthy will be the MLB next season. Could Sam make either Dlaw or Armstrong expendable? Could you trade Armstrong for a 2nd or cut DLaw in 2024 and save 7 mill?

Sam Williams and Clarke are hitting their stride for the stretch run, which makes our already dominant defense more scary. Playmakers at every level and as the season goes we're developing more superstars at the D line and LBer and their starting to ball just in time for the playoffs. I'm really excited about them and what they bring to the table. They were both steals in the draft, especially Clarke.

I loved the Sam Williams pick but his speed and body type remind me less Charles Hayley more Fred Dean . Dean was a fast bad dude wrecking QB’s . Williams is in that speed violence mold. I want to see a strip sack out of # 54 come Thurs .

I told y'all since days before the Draft, and especially when the Cowboys drafted Sam Williams in the 2nd round, that he was going to be a BEAST for our Cowboys!

Just past halfway through the season...Sam is right on cue...

I just like the absolute anger with which he tackles people. He aint gently guidin nobody to the ground. Running backs, QBs, coaches, you name it.. everybody gets slammed to the ground with bad intentions.
That's for sure, Williams doesn't prop a pillow behind your head or cradle your back when he blunt force tackles you down to the turf. He doesn't dab the sweat from your eyes and softly whisper in your ringing ears that he was sorry being a bit rough with you - but come to think of it, if he did that, he would absolutely terrify you! LOL.

Sam Williams for sure is a star . Clark I never see unless he makes a big play. But I bet you’re right

SW and DC are upgrades stuffing the run. Both play quick and with power. DC has high FB instincts as well. Sam is raw but is on the right trajectory. I think is Sam can eliminate the flags with the roughness, he will be dynamic for us. But again, thats his game, thuggish twitchy heavy handed edge guy that wants 2 knock your block off. I been saying since the day we drafted him that he is Terrell Suggs 2.0. Same exact body type as well.

Romo really likes Clark too and think he has a chance to be a really quality mike and is respected in the locker room, too, dating back to college. Romo said he was a big time draft steal and should have been a day 2 pick and not 5th round

Armstrong has 7 sacks this year but he's the biggest beneficiary of playing across from Parsons IMO. With a normal DL, Armstrong maybe has 3 sacks by this point.
I disagree about Armstrong benefitting from Parsons. While I am sure it has some effect the dude is just overpowering people on his way to the QB!
