Sam Williams has upside

He’s a half step slower than Micah with d-laws body. Obviously he doesn’t Micah’s change of direction either but he’s a nice blend of the two. He had scrub stopping body as a rookie. When he becomes the starter, he’ll have 3 really good pass rushers in the field at all times.
The entire world is at least a half step slower than Parsons.

SW is the strongest 4.4 forty player that I've seen.

he is a DE only, where Micah is everything, LB, Saftey, DE, whatever you need him be.

Sam needs a lot more snaps. A lot more. He’s a game changer

the problem is either you take that snaps off LAwrence or armstrong or fowler.Dont forget Basham is coming back too.

I frankly don't carer about the excessive penalties he takes. Imagine having him look you in the eye, just to turn the other way and find #11? He will matuer, but as of right now he is a monster

He is bigger than Dlaw and stronger than both of them.

Turn him loose off the edge and it will be scarey.
That's what I've been asking for Dan Quinn to do for weeks now, yet Quinn keeps favoring the slower veterans. Smh

Tell Dan Quinn that. He's being stubborn and favoring the veterans...as if he doesn't want to hurt their feelings if he takes reps away from them and gives them to Sam Williams.

Ken, just stop with this life mission to convince us that Micah Parsons is weak.

He is a rookie, playing 17 games is tough for rookies, so ok to bring him along slowly

Its rather amazing watching his evolution.
I remember seeing his first snap count introduction, when he seemed timid and looking around, still making plays that game.
Now Sam knows his place and is just starting to recognize how good he can be, how integral he can be to this defense.
Clark will be the next intro, and it may take several weeks from now, but when that transition takes place, this defense gets another gear.

I had my face in my hands as he did that. From the other angle it didn't look as violent though. Still, you never know what these officials are going to call.
The normal guideline though is you cannot pick up a player and then throw them to the ground, which is what he did.

If he had just spun him and slammed him it would have been fine, but he picked him up off the ground before slamming him down and I was really surprised they did not throw a flag on him.

He is trending in the right direction certainly. It would be nice to hit big on a 2nd round pick after so many that havent worked out over the last decade. When in doubt draft from the SEC.

It's a small video, but here's a good look at it in real-time.

It is good he did not land on top of him so that may have factored into the no-flag decision, but the initial picking the player up before slamming him down is usually enough to cause a flag.

He was lucky he was not penalized 15 yards for the body slam tackle.
Party pooper. Bench urself.
Agreed. Quinn needs to harness this dude pre-game. Keep the edge, don't go over it. I remember Dez being like that as a rookie.
