I watched them play against the Raiders and their defense is suspect against the pass. They have a tremendous passrush, just like we do.But if it doesn't get home they could be in trouble.

We give Dak enough time and they can't generate pressure with 4 men, they will have some trouble with our offense.

They look good, even dominant, but they haven't played any of the top teams except Kansas City.
Kansas City wiped the floor with them, 44-23.
While Brock Purdy's success makes for a feel good story- and it should- the 49'ers will miss Garappolo Sunday night. Purdy and the Niners have feasted on sub par opponents, but now Purdy has to face the Dallas Cowboys- and all that a complete team has to offer.
The Cowboys won't fold in the third quarter. When the second half starts, Dan Quinn's adjustments will crunch the dreams of a rookie quarterback who has become accustomed to sub .500 teams who run out of gas after they play a close first half. Purdy will find that the Cowboys secondary doesn't lay down. I predict that it will be the 49'ers offense that runs out of gas this time.
So the only question is how the Cowboys offense will fare against the Niner defense. And that will break the hearts of Niner fans. Not only will Pollard and Elliot have great games, but the defense of the Cowboys will add to that with turnovers that assist the offense. With all of that, Dak will play loose, and will have some big plays.
Cowboys 34, 49'ers 14.
And I believe that the Giants WILL beat the Eagles.
Don't get overconfident, The Bucs has one of the worse pass defense in the leauge. If you noticed most of the pass Dak threw the receivers were wide open. It wont be the same with the 49ers.

Going as a hungry dog on the road with a team that can create QB pressure against a rookie QB?

I think we have a shot.
The cowboys have a shot, but it will be a lot tougher. The bucs was the worst playoff team in the NFC. SF is one of the best.

Dallas will have to deal with a team that runs the ball very well. The cowboys has problems with teams that can run the ball. The cowboys can win, but very unlikely.

well we played some paper opponents and didnt dominate them like the NIners have in their last 10 games.
I live near SF and I watch damn near every game. Purdy is legit. I hope we destroy him, but the NIners have their guy for the next decade.

The 49ers didn't play the Vikings this season.
The did lose to the damn Flacons though!lol. It sucked being a Cowboys fans here with all these idiots yelling rise up!!lol. For what?! They are definitely a better team with Purdy now at the helm but he's due for a stinker!

I didn't hear nothing like that. Must be nice to make things up.
We can't bump old threads, but they're still out there. Confidence was high going into the Niners game and fans were complaining about disrespect in the media.

All that's changed, it seems, is the date on the calendar.

This is the list of players and the snap counts from last year's game vs 49ers. I think the defense is better than last year's defense. Osa and Gholston are better this year. The CB position is weaker without A. Brown and Lewis but Bland has made those losses little less painful. We don't have Basham, Gregory, and Hill anymore, but their replacements Fowler, Sam Williams, and Hankins are better than them. Also having Barr and Clark gives us more options to stop the run than just going with undersized big nickel package.

They are completely a paper tiger and would have lost to the top 4 AFC teams by double digits and will lose to the Eagles by double digits…

I bet the Chiefs, Bills, Bengals, Chargers, Jags, Dolphins (with a healthy Tua), and Ravens (with a healthy Jackson) all wish they were in the NFC as they would be in the NFCCG had they been there…

I mean this year alone the 49ers lost to the Broncos and got absolutely smashed by the Chiefs at home…

So let me get this straight. 9ers were paper tigers because they hadn't played anyone or a D like Dallas. Now they beat Dallas and theyre still paper tigers? Do you hear yourselves?

The “paper tigers” just sent you home. Don’t worry, the Egirls will be joining you in the off-season soon. Then off to get that sixth Lombardi.
