I think you meant to say Minnesota was a paper tiger.

SF doesn't remotely look like one.

They can be beaten though

maybe selective hearing on your part...
No on your part. If you can't give examples that people said the Niners, a team that made the Super Bowl two seasons before last season, were paper tigers then you are making up nonsense. Show me where people called them paper tigers. Otherwise like you I said you are making it up.

Honestly I think this is the game Dallas players wanted. They ended our season last year and any man who is a competitor wants his chance to redeem himself. Yesterday they exercised the 2nd demon is taking down Brady and the Bucs and now they have a shot at ending the 49ers season just as they ended ours last season
That's exactly what I believe, and those things can be powerful motivators.

McCarthy and Moore both saw early on last night that putting the onus on Dak early was a mistake. It was only after they switched to the running game that the Cowboys moved the ball, and after that Dak loosened up and had a great game.
This is what I posted last week and have been stressing: For the Cowboys offense to excel and get Dak to play great, he needs to believe that he is a complimentary part of the offense, not the leader. When he doesn't feel pressure to lead, he relaxes and makes some great plays.
So if McCarthy and Moore will convince him that they are counting on the run and let him be more relaxed, he should play very well.
Keeping a BIG BOY in the back field paid huge dividends against an aggressive Bucks D-Line. I'm sure the Boys will do a lot of this against this opponent too!

This is false and wishful thinking. Yes, their division was very weak compared to last year but they aren't a paper tiger. They aren't doing it with smoke and mirrors like the Vikings. KC beats a lot of teams and we aren't KC so not sure that result makes me feel any better.

If you want to point to something, well Seattle with Geno Smith played very well the 1st half and deep into the 3rd before the strip sack sent the train off the rails. Raiders with a backup QB also probably should have won and put up a lot of points.

Still doesn't mean they are a paper tiger.

I wouldn’t be talking down the 49ers. Their blowout loss to KC was in week 7 and Purdy was making his first start. They haven’t lost a game since. This is a much better 49ers team than the one that played KC in week 7. Purdy has gained a lot of experience since then. It makes no difference what happened earlier in the season we found that out when we played Tampa last night. KC got beat early in the season by Indianapolis. So what? The 92 Cowboys got blown out by Philly in week three. The Cowboys ended up killing them in the playoffs because they were a much better football team by then. There’s not a hotter team in the league than San Francisco and the Cowboys will have their work cut out for them.

KC game was Jimmy G, 9ers had 8 or 9 starters out, mostly on D. CMC just got to SF. Purdy came in Miami after Jimmy G got hurt.

They beat us last year.
They’ve been on a roll.
They’re at home.
DVOA stats say they’re the best team in the league.

I think we have the talent to beat them but let’s not get carried away.

This is the challenge. The remaining NFC teams all have great running QBs. We have tackle them when we get a chance and not let him escape. I hate when Jones or Hurts turns a sack into an 8 yard gain.
Nothing pisses me off more..I agree, especially on 3rd and long.

Not a paper tiger at all. We should all give the Cowboys FULL credit if they were to beat the Niners

they ain’t no 8-9 team that shouldn’t have made the playoffs.

According to what I’ve looked up Purdy got a few snaps against KC and didn’t make his first start until Tampa.
