I know most yall don't care but this one is big to me. The Sharks have to be the most snake bitten team in major sports. That last series going up 3-0 and losing 4-3 was one of the most painful things to see. To top it off the Kings go on to win the cup after having them under their thumbs. Sharks up by one, start to the second period Sharks up by one.

I'd like to see Thornton get one and shake the playoff choker label.

Both Thornton and Marleau. Drafted 1 and 2 in the 1st in 1997. I met Marleau when he just arrived to San Jose after being drafted, and he seemed like a nice kid. I got a team autographed jersey from that season, and that is how I met him. Only 18 years old then. Hard to believe he is still playing in 2016, and still with the Sharks. 19 years with the same team. I want to see them win it all this season. I love my Sharks and want to see the snake biting stop.

The Cowboys are my favorite team, and I have seen them win it all multiple times.

The Sharks seem like those early Cowboys teams where they were always competitive but could never win the big one. That got symbolized by Bob Lilly tossing his helmet after the loss in the Super Bowl to the Colts. That's where the San Jose Sharks have been for years.

I'm a Bruins fan and thought big Joe got a bad rap when he played hurt in the playoffs a couple seasons and somehow got the choker label. Fact was he had to carry the team and couldn't do it hurt. The downside is the Bruins have your first round pick next year so the farther the Sharks go the worse that pick is. Lol. Still rooting for them though.

That was for Martin Jones, right? Completely happy with that. I want to see the Sharks stick it to L.A., doing so with their former goalie will be double sweet!

Belfour is a traitor and disgusting human being. He knows where he can shove that cup. I have no problem with the rest of the Stars and their history, but Belfour is a disgusting pig.

Yea. Half of Bruins nation thinks they should have kept Jones and traded Rask.

He is a traitor because he didn't re-sign with the Sharks after being traded to them for a half season? Yeah, no. That's not how it works. That's just straight Sharks butt-hurt. He didn't ask to be traded to the Sharks. The fact that he refused to re-sign with the Blackhawks should have been a clue that he was going to move to where *HE* wanted to be. It's not his fault the Sharks brass suckered themselves.

You can't be a traitor to a team you never wanted to be a part of in the first place.

He never even tried when he was on the team. He just pouted and whined the whole time. Did you watch any of his games when he was on the Sharks? The man was a complete disgrace.

I didn't watch, but I agree he isn't the "best" human being. Though, the Sharks knew what they were getting when they traded for him. I'm mean, it's not like the book hadn't been written for him before the Sharks traded for him. The Stars too took a major risk signing him. At least they had the assurance that he wanted to be there as he signed the contract.

Like I said, no disrespect to the Stars. They are a classy organization, and I respect them. I''m a Sharks fan, and will never respect Belfour. He never gave a crap when he joined the team, and then signed day one of free agency with the Stars. He never gave the Sharks an opportunity to re-sign him. There was one game where he simply went to the bench and laid down and pouted. Sharks had to send out their back up goalie(Steve Shields?). He's a ****** I will never have respect for.

Good luck to the Stars, I'm hoping my Sharks get to play them soon. :)

By the way, love the Avatar. Reign In Blood is my favorite metal album of all time. Iron Maidens "Power Slave", Megadeths "Peace Sells", and Anthrax's "Among The Living" aren't far behind. It was great being in the Bay Area in the mid to late 80's.

It's my 3rd favorite Slayer album. South of Heaven and Seasons in the Abyss taking the first two slots. (the albums where Tom actually sang rather than screamed on most songs)

The Bay Area in the 80's was metal heaven. I was at a show every weekend and got to see so many bands it was ridiculous. You would have loved it. Something I will never forget is pre-ordering "God Hates Us All" by Slayer from Wherehouse Records, and then going to pick it up that day on release date. The date? 9/11/2001. That was some farked up **** right there.

Okay that was weird. Why did this make my reply look like part of your post?

I lived Alameda for a short time around 1983-1984. (Father was in the Navy) I was too young and Slayer / Metallica were really just starting to boom at the time. Around that time, I was just mainly listening to AC/DC, Ozzy, Dio, Iron Maiden, Zeppelin, and the like. I didn't start listening to Metallica till early 1985 (I was sold the second I heard For Whom the Bell Tolls) and Slayer until I heard of them during all the hoopla prior to their South of Heaven release in 1988.
