He's lucky or unlucky it's a weak QB class.
I think Ward is #1, and then Sanders #2. Could see Allar fly up the boards due to potential if he ends up declaring.

When Milroe, Ewers and Beck round out the current top 5, it's not a class that has a "can't" miss QB or depth.

Anyways, I say unlucky for Sanders as he will get over drafted to a bad team that may always be bad due to no direction and endless coaching turnover, aka the Raiders.

IMO would be better for most of the 2025 QB's to have been #3-5 and possibly be drafted in the late teens/20's like Jackson and wind up on a competent franchise.

I am with you. Shedeur Sanders does not look like a franchise QB to me no matter what he thinks of himself. He has a lot of development to go and I am concerned that he is not already there given who his father is and the coaching he has been exposed to.
I would assume the opposite.

I think most people with the resources the Sanders' have, would hire and employee the best advice for Shedeur to become an NFL QB. Couple that with Deion's NFL connections...just seems like a no brainer.

Shedeur is not quick, but is willing to stay in the pocket, but not like how Brady, Rogers, Burrows plays. Ive seen quite a bit of Colorado games, Shedeur has been taught to be pass first. He does buy time with his legs, but he has to with that line.

Again, Shedeur is a paradox. I can tell he has been given good advice, its the line he is playing behind that can really skew the profile of Sanders.

My opinion, most posters on here are for a traditional QB, since Shedeur has a bad oline...he is forced to buy time by making plays with his legs...and that alone will turn some people off. They dont want a guy that wants to escape at all, they want a tall, strong armed, unathletic stand in the pocket QB....and they want come off it.

All that being said, throw in Shedeurs low turnovers....it seems hard to evaluate what he could be at the next level. Now, I havent looked at ALL-22 of his QB'ing...there might be youtube video break downs that are claiming he makes far too many dumb or risky decisions. I just dont know why posters arent mentioning that if he is that bad at decision making in game....and I dont know why all that risk didnt lead to a bunch of turnovers at Colorado.

Im not defending Shedeur....I just dont see how you can evaluate him as a pocket passer with the line he has had.

I agree he has a bad offensive line and that is somewhat of a positive for his transition to the NFL. He already has experience in that area.

I disagree people are looking for a pocket passer today. I think in the NFL today the QB has to be mobile. He has to contribute with his legs. He cannot sit in the pocket and look for the open man. Edge rushers today are too quick and too good for QBs of that nature. Even Burrow can use his legs to make room to throw.

I see Jaxson Dart as a guy that could get a lot of buzz heading into the draft. Some team may nab him in the 2nd-3rd round.

For sure. Definitely think it's a fluid draft class after Ward/Sanders.
He did well in Ole Miss, improved all 3 years there.
Think he's a good draft and develop QB. Let him get used to the speed/complexity of NFL defenses in practice/PS before throwing him out in the fire.

This tune has been played before and does not score
no you do not have to be a runner to be a QB
ITs an additional tool to be used but its not job critical
a bad O line means the team is not going anywhere anyway
now a QB does have to have pocket awareness and be able to move around but that is not the same as being able to run.
This idea that the edge rushers have become too good for pocket passers is pathetic. The level of sacks in the NFL has not changed.
