Sapp (the right defensive tackle) is very clearly closer to Adams than to Gurode. He even comes across the line to Allen's outside, which is why Allen's body gets turned toward the TV camera.

WTH are you talking about? Maybe my eyesight has left me, but in no way does he look closer to Flozell than to Gurode. If anything, you would need an overhead view to show anything conclusive. From that angle, he cetainly looks no closer to Flo than Gurode.

That is the same angle I looked at when I made the original statment, and the only one I've seen. Get me an overhead view or something where you can see the players in perspective that shows Sapp is on Allen's outside, I have no problem admitting I was wrong. From that angle, he looks closer to Gurode. That is not be "covering up" for anything, Ican honestly say he does not look closer to Flo.

Sorry, maybe I just don't see it. I'm sitting here trying to make my brain believe it is as Adam says, and it jsut isnt working. He doesnt look any closer to Flo to me.

Not really, I am honestly curious now, because somehow I am not seeing what everyone seems to be seeing. I just cant see how it is obvious he is closer to Flo.

That shot is perfect and you can see where Sapp is lined up, exactly where he says he is. You don't need an overhead shot to see that.

And it's not an optical allusion...or an optical illusion.

Look at the gap between Sapp and the LDT. That's a substantial split. We were blocking man in that series and that's the reason you saw Gurode stand up and block "nobody". Sapp was Allen's man, no way around it.

Sorry, I just dont see how this is so obvious to everyone else. From that angle, there is nothing I see that makes me think he is on Allen's outside shoulder. Right across from Allen? Maybe, but no way closer to Flo.
