Let's try it this way.

For the angle that HH is claiming to be correct the LDE would have to be lined up across from Rivera. The picture clearly shows him lined up opposite Petitti. This makes sense because no LDE is going to line up where it makes the double team easier. The reason it's clear is because the LDT is not opposite the Center, he is lined up outside of the Center and there isn't room for 2 guys lined up together in front of Rivera.

In other words, the angle he says this is skewed to does not exist and it is just what it appears to be. The RDE is lined up way outside and Sapp the RDT is lined up basically face to face with Flozell.

If anyone disagrees I'll be shocked.

Adam would disagree

Sapp lined up across from Allen's OUTSIDE shoulder

How you can tell where either player is exactly, I will never know

Well, HH, I have read this whole mess...and, well, your a young man, and you need to learn that you are not right all the time!

You can argue all you want...but Sapp dogged Allen on that play.

Also, if 10 people see it a lot different then you, what do you think you will accomplish be repeatedly saying everone is wrong, and you are right?

You blew this arguement...learn to be a man...admit it and move on!

You will gain more respect from admitting you are wrong, the continuing to argue you are right...when evidence concludes you are, indeed wrong...

Don't blame bad eyesight, optical illusions, or what not....that's backstroking!

:star:

I'm not saying everyone is wrong, I'm saying I dopnt see how yuo can all see it with such certainty.

I have never seen SAPP line up that far away from the OG when playing DT Sapp has made living out of beating the OG and C in pass pro!!!

Its obvious SAPP was getting his BUTT KICKED and wanted to use his quickness!!! if anything this pictures shows just how weak FLO is v. the speed rush!!!

I would think DREW would audible to a draw or a dive pending D&D... but knowing the gunslinger DREW is he audibled to a double move!!!

SAPP is a great/smart player what would u do? does anyone have any PLAYS where SAPP lines head up on the BALL?

I'm watching the LIONS game right now... check the GAME LOG the cowboys ran right down the field and LA was whippin ROGERS and WILKINSON!!! THAT BS sparano said that they cant run away from LA... first play ALJ pulls LA cuts the DT JULES 18 yards!!!

3rd and short LA put WILKINSON on ice skates!!!

TD and the play before MB3 over LA... LA blocks the DT and the LB on a same play!!!

oh my GAWD SCOTT FUJITA just lost his JOCK!!!

(sigh)...then you are still saying everyone is wrong...

Here, my friend, have two Beautiful Stars...to help you through this mess...

I admire someone that maintains a stance, but, when someone is wrong, they need to admit it...you can't get through life thinking you are always right!

What was that saying that Hostile always says?

"If 10 people tell you, you are drunk...you better sit down"?

Conceding something does not make you a weak person. Admitting being wrong, when you are wrong, makes you so much stronger...

Mostly it's because we've all paid attention to 4-3 alignments all our lives as well as knowing the rules of where the OL can line up, etc.

Your stance doesn't make a lick of sense, dozens of people are telling you that, and yet you cling to it like a life preserver. It's an anvil, let it go.

The photo is obviously faked. Sapp was so fat in the original photo he was on in the inside shoulder of LA, too. Obviously, much of Sapp's fat has been zapped and deleted in order to make it appear he was only on the outside shoulder of LA.

Adam, I'm a little disappointed that you'd stoop to such depths as to trim a fat photo to prove a point. Shame on you.

Whatever you do HH, don't fold.

I'm quite confident that a ground-up view would prove everything that is not something!

The D-Linemen can line up wherever they want, whenever they want. Knowing offensive line alignments does nothing for this arguement. Warren Sapp could line up opposite Terry Glenn if he wanted to.

And jsut because a team is in the 4-3 does not mean the D-Linemen always line up in the same place every play, that's just silly logic. The fact still remains I can't see what is so "obvious" in that picture.

No I wouldn't. I was stating where Sapp was lined up in relation to Allen. It's obvious that he's lined up to Allen's outside shoulder -- not his inside shoulder, close to Gurode, as you once claimed. Adams is right next to Allen's outside shoulder, so if Sapp is lined up "basically face to face with Flozell," then he's obviously on Allen's outside shoulder, not his inside shoulder.

Vicious cycle.

Again, if I could see that it is so obvious like you are all claiming, I would. However, I just do not see it.

Face to face with Flozell = Between Allen and Flozell?

Okay......
