Nah. Oddly enough, he actually likes him.Is this another one of those 'I never listen to that moron Steven A but I couldn't help noticing something interesting he said' threads?
That's why I don't read them or listen. I just seek out posts like yours and empasize them.Pick the one guy out there that is vehemently against the Cowboys, obnoxious beyond comprehension, and then post him every chance we get....on a Cowboy forum.
Thus giving his voice support by default
good points, but makes you wonder why people bother tuning in to watch a "character" speakPaul Newman played a character on stage and in films.
Deion Sanders played a character on the field, in interviews and now on a TV broadcast about the NFL.
Randy Galloway played a good ole boy character in his articles and radio shows in Dallas.
Dale Hansen plays a Holier-Than-Thou sports reporter who acts like he is the ethical standard bearer for the NFL and sports in general.
Creating a niche and exploiting it for notoriety goes far back before these people were born.
Stephen A Smith plays a character on a TV show which discusses the NFL. His role is to be Anti-America's Team. If there was a team more popular than the Dallas Cowboys, Smith would be using them as a vehicle for his rants and popularity. Because with all the people who love the Cowboys, there will always be just as many who despise them. And that spite is a demographic which will tune in and watch the show and subsequent commercials.
Without conflict, a "press" who does nothing but praise the Cowboys would get boring.. And while there are a great number here who state they don't watch ESPN, or Smith, or read Worder still do. By the droves.

sorry, I meant strictly in relation to football... and probably just personally, as the sum of football shows or televised opinions that I invest time in amounts to zeroName one area of life we see on TV, in the movies, or hear on the radio that doesn't use this platform.
I'm guaranteeing Beyonce has stains in her panties. Obama has skid marks. Rhianana picks her nose. Bruce Springstein cheated on his wife. with his back-up singer. Elvis, Michael J. and Prince, along with Hendrix, Joplin and a long long list had serious drug problems that ended in death.
They are not who we think they are.
Our society - the American society - spends its time looking for entertainment. Sing your song, do your dance, act out your character, the masses scream. (To be sure i am as immersed as everyone else.)
"Did you see that movie?" "Hey, did you hear that new song?" "Wow, that political speech last night was brilliant."
Even to the point there is a contest during the Super Bowl, for the best commercial.
Makes you wonder as much as this country has to offer, are we as a society so unhappy we have to have a diversion? I know I wonder that about me.
Is this another one of those 'I never listen to that moron Steven A but I couldn't help noticing something interesting he said' threads?
I watched this and really they dont say anything we dont already know.
They talked about should garropolo and should he play hurt thur nite, and that was interesting.
but the cowboy stuff is just rehash everybody knows stuff.
Neither of them said what they would do if they had to make the decision keep dak playing or bring romo back or when etc.
They just talked around that.
