San Francisco having the number one defense in the league has certainly helped Purdy. Not putting your QB in a position where they have to carry your team is a huge benefit. Purdy has been able to play within himself and not have to overcome deficits.

This SF secondary is beatable.....Not impressed. Only thing saving them is that front 4. :popcorn:

Didn’t Ben win one as a rookie?
He went 15-1 as a rookie but lost to the Patriots in the AFCCG. He won the SB the next season as a 6-seed.

All 3 of his SB appearances came in years where he didn't run into New England, who he never beat in postseason.

Actually their run started three years ago when they lost in the Super Bowl. The next season they got hit with a bunch of injuries. Last year they should have made it to the Super Bowl if not for the dropped interception against the Rams. Of course the media made it looked like the Cowboys were the better team. :facepalm:
