San Francisco having the number one defense in the league has certainly helped Purdy. Not putting your QB in a position where they have to carry your team is a huge benefit. Purdy has been able to play within himself and not have to overcome deficits.

Dak would have a good defense had he not kept going 3 and out and leading to multiple fatigue injuries on defense.
