Glad if it's 'just' a stinger/pinched nerve, BS, tho that can be a painful enough. Any swelling around the vertebrae must be dangerous tho...keep us posted on his recovery please.

Well, thanks for all the prayers!! Looks like it is just a stinger!! He had some swelling around his spine and a pinched nerve. If he rests and do everything that the doctor says, he'll bounce back in two weeks. They have a bye week Oct. 16th, so that's perfect!! His mom, my auntie, flew out this morning. He's doing better, he's been released from the hospital.

I'm sure he probably feels like he's been in a car wreck, but he's fine.

Prayer sent. BS, know that the Aggie family is behind T-Murphs as he goes through this. Going to school here I've heard nothing but good things about him, and always heard that he was the nicest, hardest working person on the football team. I also heard that he was a better person than a football player, which is saying a lot, because he was one of A&M's best. Gig'Em and Godspeed Terrence.

Was just coming in to say I seen on sportscenter that he was out for the year.

And IMO that is the smart move.

Neck and back injuries are nothing to mess with and it would be better for him to sit the year out and make sure he is 100% instead of trying to rush back into the game only to make things worse.

I dn't know if it's been posted before, but I noticed Brown Sugar's cousin, Terrance Murphy has been placed on IR by the Packers due to a helmet to helmet hit.
