QB: Dak Prescott
RB: Ezekiel Elliott
WR: Ceedee Lamb
WR: Odell Beckham Jr.
WR: Michael Gallup
TE: Jake Ferguson
LT: Tyler Smith
LG: Jason Peters
C: Tyler Biadasz
RG: Zack Martin
RT: Tyron Smith

You can flip flop Tyler Smith and Jason Peters but I'm betting they will want to keep the old man in a phone booth rather than out on the edge. That's the OL until Steele comes back. Then you shift Tyron over and move Tyler to LG.

I wish I expected more but I don't. Seeing Zeke in there is inexcusable but I really believe that unless he turns down a pay cut he will be back in the same role he had this year. Disgusting.

It's not enough. We need more around this QB. Particularly at RB and TE. I'd rather have someone other than OBJ too. If this group is an upgrade over last year I'd call it only a minor one as while OBJ improves the WRs, Schultz is a better receiver than Ferguson.

With McCarthy taking over the offense Im holding out hope that will lead to more personnel changes than this but knowing how this front office operates, that's my guess at how this all shakes out for the opener.

If the Cowboys brass watched Zeke this year and are actually thinking "starting NFL RB" I don't know what to say. I realize that Jerry and his kid said some really stupid stuff but words don't matter. What counts is actions and if they just roll out Zeke again . . . I just . . . ugh.

Complete and utter failure is what we should all be hoping for if we want the future of the Cowboys to be better.

Continuing to wallow in mediocrity with the core guys like Dak and Zeke will only lead to failed playoff success and embarssment each year.

The best case scenario for the Cowboys would be horrible play that forces this FO to move on from a few of these anchors.

With Pollard being a question mark after injury we absolutely have to draft a running back.

Yeah we need a DT and OT and RB and a CB in that order I'm going to say.
I think Ferguson and hendershot can take over for Schultz and hopefully Gallup will be back two full strength and maybe cap boy will get off his wallet and get us another good wide receiver

How do you put together the starting offense next year already? Some of it is safe assumption but I don't see how you come up with that without FA (even with dumpster diving) and the draft.

I get the point. It looks like hell right now and I don't disagree there are some glaring holes but this is just a guessing game in February to remind people of the current deficiencies of the roster.

Pretty close likely. I was fine adding obj in season towards the end of the year but now I’ve moved on. How Gallup played this year off a big time injury gives me pause handing real money out to obj now and hoping he’s ok. I say that fully expecting obj here unfortunately.

Besides obj the other likely available wide receivers will be cooks and Hopkins. I do think pollard is the starter however

That's been the ceiling for the cowboys the last 25+ years.

I don't think that Zeke will be on the team.

Winning 12 games and a playoff game isn't mediocre.

But they wouldn’t lol. They could go 4-13 and still wouldn’t move on. We’ve seen this before….

Zeke was listed as the starter in the Wildcard game but Pollard played more snaps and had more touches.

Your lineup with a healthy Pollard, Peters and OBJ would have had a high probability of winning the game vs the 49ers...
