I always wonder if those who demand a "splashy" free agency period actually have followed past free agencies.

Yea, I saw the one where the Giants signed Vernon, Jenkins, and Harrison and went from 6-10 with a bottom-10 defense to 11-5 and a top-10 defense. And I saw the one where the Seahawks signed Cliff Avril and Michael Bennett and won the Super Bowl. And the one where the Broncos signed Aqib Talib, TJ Ward, and Demarcus Ware and won the Super Bowl...

The Cowboys are #28 in salary cap space.

After all their big moves so far, the Patriots are STILL #10 in cap space.

The Cowboys aren't going to, shouldn't, and probably CAN'T do what the Pats have been doing this off-season.

When they start the preseason with $60 million in cap space to burn we can talk about their FA strategy being too passive or whatever.

Losing Romo was a debacle. Letting Demarcus Murphy walk because he wanted too much money and wanted to play for the Eagles was the right free agent decision.

I don't know Idgit... Murray made that offense work. He was a good fit for the Cowboys and had more football value that Bryant...
