I picked the Eagles double digits because I felt the DL which tore through the NFL at near record levels would harass # 15 all day especially if the ankle was any problem.

Wrong . The Chiefs handled business all day long allowing the MVP to pick things apart and allow a 7th round pick from Rutgers to be effective as well running the ball .

Would not mind at all for Dallas to work it’s first pick magic again on a bookend RT go with last yrs stud LT Smith . Only makes sense try and make this offense compliment a very good defense .
I felt the exact same way I thought the eagles defensive line would be dominant in the game but they accomplished nothing in the second half.

I want the Cowboys to draft a good defensive tackle we haven't done it forever and we need a run stopper

Perhaps we need to stick to "How to get to the NFC Championship Game" lesson, first.

A dominant OL goes a long way . It just wasn’t that this past year for a number of reasons . Bringing in 40 yr old tackles mid way through says a lot about it

Funny that Andy Reid is being praised as an offensive genius when Mahomes vs Hurts is like Tyson vs Spinks.
I remember that fight: you could see the terror in spinks face. Tyson was at his peak and really a killer in the ring. Spinks feared for his live and looked for the first place to fall down.

I'd rather steal from the team that won

I been saying the OL should be improved too, for some time......When all else fails or the cry falls on deaf ears......Blame Zeke.

Here's some lessons the Cowboys have yet to learn:

Have a QB that doesn't choke when it matters most. He needs to be consistent, accurate and read the field better. Not laser focused on one of two guys. (If Dak played any better, we'd have won.)
-Play-calling matters, have an OC that knows how to call games based on your players' strengths and what the opponent does, not stick to the same thing that doesn't work over and over.
-Time management matters
-Coaching matters. Not only do you need to study your opponents for weaknesses, you have to get your players hungry for winning and hate losing even more than they love winning. Most Cowboys don't seem to hate losing.
-Country club training camp and practices make players soft. You play how you practice. If you let them make business decisions and not tackle, that's what you'll get.

Cannot count on Steele for 2023. See Gallup, Michael...

If they keep Tyron then RT is covered.

If not, then an OT that can play OG would be an option; although they need a reasonable solution in place before the draft. Don't force a pick at OL.

Can’t count on 77 for the marathon that has become 17 games plus . Steele who knows when and if . Leaves a hole . Rather then overpriced FA vet route if a T to McClays liking is at 26 first round by all means .

Yep the tried and true.................."having a great Oline is the key to an offense" rings true once again!!!!

If you have an elite QB you need a great Oline to use his abilities to its fullest. If you DONT have an elite QB than you better have a great line to give him a run game and keep him clean.

If I was the Cowboys I would take a great guard with the first pick and put him right next to Tyler. Or a RT if you can find a great one there as well.

People forget I guess the 2nd Mahomes SB Todd Bowles the Bucs harassed him all night the line was banged up and it ended 31-9 Bucs . I thought the Chiefs line really came through Sunday .

Wrong!!! Elite QB's that have great teams around them and all world coaching wins half the time. See, you missed the real lesson.

Other lesson. If you dont have an elite QB you need an all world team around the QB like Hurts had.

Yes how easily they all forget the lessons. Spot on. Mahomes lost a few lineman in the playoffs and he coudlnt even score a TD. This year his Oline played incredible and he just scrapes by 3 playoff games to win it.

This shows us the value of having an elite QB who put the team on his shoulders in the 2nd half and balled out…with an injury.
Of course it’s nice to have a great coach implementing a great scheme…with a good OL.
I think the NFL has shown us that scheme and coaching will beat straight-up talent.

The draft is our strength
The one area I trust them not to screw it up.

And there you have it, teams with elite QBs have a big advantage. The other lesson is you can get a long ways without an elite QB if, #1, you build up your team so it doesn't rely on your third tier QB's arm. Philly did great, they had a chance... Dallas never does because they believe their own flashy hype.
