Scandrick Contract Restructured

In the past, they've restructured with Scandrick because he needed money immediately. Scandrick has taken a good bit less in the long term over the years in order to get more money immediately.

Interesting. Some of it will be eaten up by the added Sean Lee roster bonuses, but where is the rest going?
They aren't in a dollar for dollar situation yet......they were already 5-6m under the cap before these new moves......creating a little cushion is always better than needing it later and not being able to create it without cuts

He isn't getting any more money.....he is just getting it upfront instead of spread over 17 weeks
I know that. Point is, there was alot of hand wringing over him purchasing a new home a few weeks ago.

Over the cap had them at 4.7m under. With Scandrick and Lee moves, we should be around 7.5m under. Davis really shouldn't cost more than a net hit of about 500k if signed.
those numbers are way off....... they haven't accounted for guys on the IR and their cap number of 156.9m is short by 2.3m.....it should be 159.2m....until the roster gets sorted it is hard to get an accurate number without inside info

I find Spotrac to be much more accurate and updated

I know what players do when they make poor decisions with their money. They look to get more money.

How much more room would we have to create to trade for JJ Watt? Or maybe it will just be easier to deal for Von Miller?

I wouldn't get my hopes up. This is probably for some injury settlements or some backup DE or something that's not too big a deal.
