Jacques Reeves and Alan Ball weren't as bad as Carr has been. He was on pace to give up 300 yards to Garçon.
It is a bit concerning that it took a player to notice this and not a coach. Maybe they did notice it and thought different, IDK. It is never a good thing when players take it upon themselves to change things up. Is it taking initiative? Yes, but they should not do that on their own at this level.
If Carr was that dehydrated before the game, plan on limiting his snaps or have someone else start and he comes in on crucial downs to conserve what energy he had. That is a fail on the coaching staff if others saw he was not ready yet they forced him in there.
Injuries probably played into that decision to start but he appeared to not be ready from the start. It should have not taken that long to make a change, whether it came from Orlando or the coaches.
Players with talent and insight do that at times. I don't see it as a problem if it works. I made the comment they needed to move Scandrick on Garcon. I thought the coaches had adjusted. I can promise you they didn't NOT see it and the fact they left if alone shows they aren't completely out of it. Head's up move by OScan.

Where is the Carr that shut down D Jax and Garcoun in the 1st go around inside the division.........hope he shows up Sunday nite.
As far as O Scan switching things up.........I wondered why during the Det. game with Megatron going off........the same thing--
Looks like Philly secondary has come along ways--the bears 2 Wr's were pretty quiet as a whole compared to them running free in our secondary
this is one of the most pathetic coaching staffs that the players know they do not have the capacity or the fortitude to make adjustements and so are doing this in the middle of games
horrible horrible coaching and people still defend it as "i like it that the players are taking it upon themselves..."
They moved matchups around more than once in the game. It was not the first time Scandrick was on him. In the 4th Quarter and on that particular play he made the decision to take him. Good for him.
That is just so discouraging. What the hell are the coaches getting paid for? It's like when Romo moved Dez into the slot on his own - something we all wanted.
The players must talk among themselves about this stuff. I know publicly they have to be cool but privately it's hard to see how they haven't lost confidence in the coaches.
The players are winning in SPITE of the coaching.
Philly got a lot of pressure and Cutler wasn't really hot. Also, Cutler's arm is so strong he throws bullets. Those two need the ball lofted and let them get it.
