Scary Movie 2 was great. Did not like the others but that one cracked me up.

The turkey scene still kills me.

Scary Movie 1 was HILARIOUS> I dont think any of them close to the 1st one.

It's really hard to top Halloween.

I remember hearing that music and literally wanting to hide UNDER the floor, lol.

The scariest scene to me was when Laurie escaped the house and ran across the street to where the kids were she was babysitting. Seeing Michael walk to the rhythm of that music after her was just....scary as heck.

Keep in mind how little in the way of gore that movie had. It has to rank as one of the scariest of all times. That mask, the music, the dark rooms, the suspense...you name it, Halloween had it.

Scipio, I know exactly what you mean. Robot Lady is creepy as heck, especially when you first see it as a kid.

Thank you.

I was worried I may have been the only one who was traumatized by that scene. For the next few days after watching that scene, when I would go to the bathroom, I had to leave the door open.

:laugh2:

The original Halloween is one of the greatest horror movies ever made, in my opinion. Unfortunately, a number of dreadful sequels and copycats (i.e. Friday the 13th) weighed down the preeminence of the film.

Halloween, much like Predator, was a simple concept executed to perfection.

Scariest scene, hands down, was from the UFO movie Communion starring Christopher Walken when the alien peaks out.....OMG....still gives me the heeby jeebies.

That scene and the alien from SIGNS when it walked by was the last two times I really was freaked out.

Communion was a surprisingly frightening movie. The night I watched it, there was a huge lightning storm. And, in the movie, lightning was the cover used by the aliens.

Scary stuff.
