If I'm Zeke, I still take it to court unless they totally vacate the suspension, which we all know isn't happening.
Guarantee Zeke's corner is going to go to court over any games lost. The NFL pegged him as a woman-beater, and that stigma does not go away.

If Elliott is truly innocent, and I hope he is, then he will want full exoneration.

If it's reduced one option would be to appeal so that he can play against the Giants then withdraw the appeal and serve the suspension. He wouldn't miss a division game that way.

I think anyone smart enough to ACTUALLY look at the evidence knew it would be reduced. Now he will still get something for the incident in March but the DV stuff will go away. If I was Zeke I would make the Commissioner come on tv and apologize for calling him a woman beater.

A week 1 division game isn't that important to go with this strategy.

They can't give him anything for the March issue. They mentioned it in his letter and said they weren't punishing him for that.

Probably go from 6 to 2-4. I believe Zeke will only accept it being reduced to 0. He's fighting for his reputation and this has been handled poorly by NFL, imo. Fight like hell: 0 or see you in court.
Not only did they label him a woman beater, but they threatened his career.
The untalked about part of this situation is that the NFL told Zeke that he could be given a lifetime ban for an occurrence that would not typically lead to such a punishment.
And they left it undefined and vague in order to keep the threat hanging over his head...

It should be reduced to 0 but I would take 2 if I'm Zeke and then take any legal action to try and fight it down

I wish I could make a ton of money by going on a podcast and saying, "I think it could happen, but I could be off-base". Anyone could have said that with no knowledge whatsoever of the proceedings. Hilarious.
