If it's reduced one option would be to appeal so that he can play against the Giants then withdraw the appeal and serve the suspension. He wouldn't miss a division game that way.

You can appeal an appeal?

Guarantee Zeke's corner is going to go to court over any games lost. The NFL pegged him as a woman-beater, and that stigma does not go away.

If Elliott is truly innocent, and I hope he is, then he will want full exoneration.

the stigma and threat of future suspension is the big issue

I wish I could make a ton of money by going on a podcast and saying, "I think it could happen, but I could be off-base". Anyone could have said that with no knowledge whatsoever of the proceedings. Hilarious.
You could potentially. You're either too cowardly (on this issue) and or a procrastinator to do it. People are making money and getting exposures from doing podcast and their websites more often than ever now.

I don't know how this is not so obvious to everyone. I mean it is almost comical

Well from what I read, the parties have until Tuesday to file all documents.

Read the article earlier stating how difficult it would be to have the decision by then.

the "outrage" over the St Patrick's Day thing reminds me of Joe Buck's "outrage" when Randy Moss "mooned" the crowd in Green Bay.

The woman, a friend of his, pulled down her shirt right after that. She continued to hang out w/ Zeke & friends after that.

As far as "conduct" goes, it was as stupid/foolish as Gronk's drunken cruises & him motorboating women
I would have been ok with Zeke being suspended a game or two for Blouse-gate. He may have committed DV, and should be suspended if he did, but you have to be able to prove it.
Why are people getting all high and mighty about what goes on at every St. Patrick's Day, Marti Gras, Spring Break, etc..?

If that chick wasn't offended, why should we care? The NFL is picking on Zeke for the same type of party behavior that they love to promote Gronk for.

That's the crazy thing about this case. He's getting labeled as an abuser, not an "off the field conduct" guy. Getting reduced to two games basically tells the public, "he hit her, but not that hard." It needs to go to court or get reduced to NONE. Only way.

Tuesday at 3:00. I assume 3:00 EST, but not sure about that.

Better be reduced to 0, zero, cero, null, nula. Anything else, would be an admittance of guilt.
I would be ok with NFL coming out and saying we are reducing suspension down to 1 due to NO real evidence against Mr. Elliot for Domestic Violence but we are leaving it at 1 due to his tarnishing of the league with other actions outlined.

Probably go from 6 to 2-4. I believe Zeke will only accept it being reduced to 0. He's fighting for his reputation and this has been handled poorly by NFL, imo. Fight like hell: 0 or see you in court.

Probably go from 6 to 1-5. :muttley:
