Let's wait to see the contract before freaking out. He was a good player, but wasn't worth breaking the bank for.
This truly stinks
TBH, it's hard to keep 5 starting quality LBers on one team. The problem we had is we needed them all to keep 2-3 on the field at one time. One of the LBs out of the unknowns, draft and now possibly FA will surprise. If Ro is gone then we need another starter for me to feel all warm and fuzzy.
RoRo better not leave us.
So they are relying on a guy who had an increasingly difficult time staying on the field towards the end of the season, who was concussed one possibly twice in two games, who is possible investigation for arson, and who was just fined 4 games pay for his third violation of the NFL substance abuse policy.
That's they guy you want to hang the success of the LB corp on?
And Durant was paid well beyond what he was worth.
No doubt in my mind that Carter is also.
If we sign him, the starting LBs will be better this year than last year
Hitchens-McClain-Lee
But they'd have to really work on depth
Wonder if Mike Jenkins helped recruit him?

Please don't expext much from Sean Lee at this point in his career. Just take it game by game with him.
