Schefter: Bruce Carter to TB

Let's wait to see the contract before freaking out. He was a good player, but wasn't worth breaking the bank for.

This truly stinks

Given Carter's effort and focus issues, I couldn't see him back here on anything but a 1 year "show me" deal.

I think we'll end up with Ro back as he's not really a hot FA commodity given that he needs the "right" situation. Ro, Lee, and Hitch are a nice group of starters if healthy. Also we likely take a LB in the first three rounds

TBH, it's hard to keep 5 starting quality LBers on one team. The problem we had is we needed them all to keep 2-3 on the field at one time. One of the LBs out of the unknowns, draft and now possibly FA will surprise. If Ro is gone then we need another starter for me to feel all warm and fuzzy.

In before everyone else. He sucked any way who cares. I hope we kill him when we play him.:D

Yeah, I'm glad we didn't pay him that. IMO he never turned out to be the guy we thought we were getting as a "steal" in the draft. Solid player, but I'm glad we've moved on. Hoping for Ro to get resigned and draft someone like Eric Kendricks.

RoRo better not leave us.

So you hoping to retain a guy who had an increasingly difficult time staying on the field towards the end of the season, who was concussed once possibly twice in two games, who is under possible investigation for arson, and who was just fined 4 games pay for his third violation of the NFL substance abuse policy.

That's they guy you want to hang the success of the LB corp on?

;)

5mil a year for 4? From the way it sounds Murray wasnt even offered that at first. Let alone a guy with effort issues.

What? That's our guy.

If we sign him, the starting LBs will be better this year than last year

Hitchens-McClain-Lee

But they'd have to really work on depth

Please don't expext much from Sean Lee at this point in his career. Just take it game by game with him.

We potential starters.

But the injury risk from McClain, Lee and Hitchens is enormous.

agree...that's why I had to put the depth comment in there.
We will most likely draft a LB

We had injury issue last year too with the previous group
