This is exactly why I said people who thought Dak would hold out are crazy. Either he'll get a deal from the Cowboys or he'll take the two tags then get the deal somewhere else. If Dak was gonna hold out the time to do that would have been before 2019 when he was the starting qb only making $2 million. If he was willing to play for $2 million, he'll certainly play for $31 million.

Maybe why Dak signed the tag. Dalton was a possibility in case Dak refused to sign. Once Dak signed, there was no reason to hold out. Can't negotiate a new contract after the deadline anyway.

Dalton functions now to give the COwboys an option to trade Dak. Besides that possibility, I don't think he's relevant to Dak's negotiating.

Dak was always signing the tag. It made no sense for him to sit out unless he pulled a Zeke. Dak knows he’s better than Dalton and so do the Cowboys.

Wait....Rodgers, Wilson, Roethlisberger and Brees had no help? Maybe Rodgers you can make the argument for but Roethilsberger has always had stacked teams. Russel Wilson always had stacked teams and now that he doesn't he can't get back. Are you sure about these claims?
