Schefter on Twitter says Folk lost his job

Theres actually a good kicker in the CFL named Sandro DeAngelis who has been probably the leagues best kicker for a couple years now. Over 5 years he's 83.8 % and is coming off a 42-49 made missed season. The last good kicker to come of that league was Lawrence Tynes for the Giants. But yeah i'm not sure what else is out there, this guy could be worth a try.

yep, folk lost his job.

there is a long time understanding that when a kicker loses his confidence, it is pretty much lights out. The world would have to change directions for them to regain it with the same team.

Folk is done IMO and you can take that to the bank.

Yips is an apparently baseless sudden loss of ability in one of a number of different sports.

I was thinking the same thing. Obviously Folk needs to be replaced. I doubt if Schefter has any inside information.

Saying folk lost his job certainly isn't going out on any limb. I'm not confident in extra points any more; that's scary.

No kidding....I couldn't believe that he was missing those close kicks from that close prior to the game....you CANNOT have that when you are trying to make the playoffs....you just can't. There is no way that Folk can hold ill feeling towards the team should we let him go....it was all on him and the team kept making excuses for him.....
