Well, I see the argument for keeping Barber, and drafting a complement for him...

But calling him a top five back in the league is beyond asinine...

We need to run him 25.. no 30!!1! times a game for him to be a top 5 back!1!

:lmao:

Just for S's and G's here are the top 20 backs this year as far as yards go. Only 6 of which scored 10 or more TDs, and Barber was one. (Barber #18 in yards)

Tomlinson
Peterson
Westbrook
Parker
Lewis
Portis
James
McGahee
Taylor
T.Jones
Lynch
White
Gore
Addai
Fargas
Jacobs
Jackson
Grant
Graham

Give me the ones you'd take over MBIII over the next 5 years.

Mine...
Tomlinson
Peterson

That's it IMHO. One could argue for Addai or Parker or maybe Grant, but not in my book. The only ones outside the top 20 i'd consider are Jones-Drew and Maroney. Larry Johnson and S Alexander might get consideration if they were healthy. The rest are too old or not in MBIII's classs IMHO.

Peterson
A healthy Gore
Huge maybe on Lynch
Tomlinson possibly but not really he doesn't have another 5 years
Addai another possibility
Healthy Larry Johnson
Healthy Willie Parker

I've been a doubter of MBIII for a while and it seems to work for him, he always proves me wrong. We'll see...:D
