Not a good look for Schoon… dude needs a solid offseason and needs to be in the middle of the competition at TE, not watching it from the trainer’s table.

He came to the NFL with the foot issue, then it was the shoulder, now the hammy. Worst possible start to his career.

This isn’t his first injury. He was dealing with planter fasciitis during camp last year and underwent should surgery. He showed nothing last year and is looking injury prone. This guy has bust written all over him. Just a waste of a second pick.
The injuries are definitely a concern. Some players, like Sean Lee, just can't seem to avoid them.

If Spann-Ford shows he is ready to block, he and Stephens could take a lot of snaps from Schoon
I'm expecting Luepke to take a lot of snaps from Schoon. If we want to run up the middle, which appears to be what we're built for, why put a tight end as the lead blocker when you can have a fullback who can block, run the ball or catch it?

Not looking good for him. Not a career ending situation; but certainly beginning to look like someone who you cannot count on. Still early; it is possible this is only a blip.
But the odds are against it with his college history

Not concerning since it’s May. Concerning that it always seems to be something
exactly. Come camp, he should be past the hammy issue and be ready to roll. Now if he tweaks it in a camp drill, then I am worried.

I am not worried, because he will be 4th on the depth chart.

well not exactly. he got the one sucker team to draft him in the second so his rookie dolla's still pretty good. he coulda gotten drafted when he should have by another team and still had all these issues. then he'd be sweatin'

Best part of it is we didn't even need a TE.

He sounds like a nagging injury waiting to happen. He’ll probably end up with turf toe in training camp.
