I was there..outside of Wisconsin the narrative was: The Packers are doomed without Favre. Not many outside of Wisconsin had not seen much of Aaron on the grass before the 2008 season. Just like with J-Love today.

I remember very well the narrative outside of Wisconsin in 2008. It was eerily similar to today with Jordan Love. You can deny the facts, but that won't change them.
Yeah, but the overall IQ in Wisconsin is a good 20 points below average in my experience.

I'm assuming that pertains to Football IQ as well as Social IQ, as you are demonstrating.

Not falling for your trap. I read the new warning on the site. Be better.
You would do well to attack arguments as opposed to the person certainly.

I really do like how you call me passive aggressive and when I ask you to explain yourself you again put it on me and imply I am trying to trap you. That too is a passive aggressive action on your part.

Well, you draft an old man, and injuries happen. Looks like another stinker in round 2.

I’m on your side…

But I have to point out that using “sport” like that is passive aggressive. Maybe you meant to be that time. Actually, I bet you did.

Good one
his handle is thesport78. I was calling him by his handle. if I was trying to be condescending i would call him "son" and not his chosen name.

I mean not necessarily. Even if cleared to practice/play, will he be 100%? Will it be a recurring issue? Sometimes it takes guys time to get over injuries.

There's no spiking of the ball here healthwise if he gets cleared for practice. I mean if his foot/leg act up in October, does that mean you have to recant calling everyone "ridiculous"?

To me, Schoonmaker just seems like one of those unnecessary risks we seem to love in the 2nd round. Hope the kid works out but my optimism is limited at this point.

You can have whatever perception you'd like. You commented on a topic that you have zero experience is versus someone who does it for a living and knows what is factual vs not factual. I've looked at the evidence; I know anatomy, physiology and biomechanics. You comment on every topic on an Internet forum like you have a PhD in everything. You still refused to accept any responsibility or inaccuracy on your viewpoints. What else is there to say?

Yep and no doubt had we drafted him you would be singing his praises.
They are one of the best drafting teams in the league. That's why they are so good now and look like they will be in the future as well.

Revisionist history.

Rodgers played in Texas Stadium in 2007 in a Thursday night game and kept the Packers in it after Favre threw a bunch of picks to put them in a hole and then got hurt.

Anyone who saw Rodgers playing that night knew he was going to be fantastic. OTOH, Jordan Love sucks and everyone knows it.

Again, I cite evidence and use logic as my basis. I am not going to apologize for coming across as educated or confident. If that offends you then deal with it.

You handwaved at uncertainty regarding how to define PF after you lost the argument regarding the timetable. Then you have the audacity to claim I cannot admit when I am wrong.

And of course here you are attacking me as opposed to my arguments yet again. If you do more of the same I am just going to ignore you next time.

Torrence wasnt the only option.
Correct, however, the 'option' we seriously considered was Bergeron, who's a Tackle/Guard who if plays Guard will provide a more mobile game, rather than the stand and block Torrence approach.

It's quite conceivable that we wanted to help the running game with a blocking TE. Having a blocking TE we now assist the running game for other lesser RB's not named Pollard. We're trying to get away from the predictability of the Moore years.

Attacking you, how? By stating the facts? You used evidence? Huh? Your idea of citing evidence is providing a link to a physical therapist’s personal website talking about PF?

Fuzzy, stop. It’s okay to be wrong or say “I don’t know“ at some point. That shows humility and character. You pretending to be correct at everything while demeaning others is not the right way to go about it.

All very true. In taking a tackles, they just could have just kept Tyler at guard. Oline was the #1 need in the offseason. The FO discussed this many times throughout and going into the draft.

They could had a great shot at a center. I think the Giants took the great one right in front of us.

Did the Cowboy's even consider him? That's the problem with us amateur evaluators, we see tape and read other non-active 'experts' opinions. Schmitz, like Torrence doesn't appear to get to the second level.
You can see what McClay was looking for ynd probably how we plan to use our running game (and then we draft Deuce )
