I think that they thought he would get too fat.I don't get those who keep bringing his name up. There wasn't any chance the Cowboys were going to draft him.

That plus he didn't fit the scheme.I think that they thought he would get too fat.
I was agreeing with his sentiments. The last sentence you wrote is describing yourself.Exactly you were complaining about me to another poster. Your opinion was full of complaints. That is not a deduction.
It is passive aggressive though.
Yeah, Solari on draft day told the guys on the draft coverage that they are looking for "athletic" offensive linemen. It's not the company line. He wasn't taken until the final picks of the 2nd round. If he was such a hot prospect, why did he last so long?
The Cowboys draft tackles and move them guard. So in addition to not liking him, he didn't fit into their philosophical draft strategy.
I wish more would read this!Yeah, Solari on draft day told the guys on the draft coverage that they are looking for "athletic" offensive linemen.
Evidently Hardline thinks a fat guy that has been too fat before is bound for greatness.Yeah, Solari on draft day told the guys on the draft coverage that they are looking for "athletic" offensive linemen.

I’m on your side…I get you don't like me, sport.
Care to explain how I am passive aggressive? You go long on assertions and that is about it.
Not falling for your trap. I read the new warning on the site. Be better.I get you don't like me, sport.

Well, the poster's user name is TheSport78. Hence, you could shorten it to sport without meaning to be passive aggressive, just using their name. Know what I'm saying, dog?I’m on your side…
But I have to point out that using “sport” like that is passive aggressive. Maybe you meant to be that time. Actually, I bet you did.
Good one
Although I think relying on Tyron is fool's gold if they had an eye on starting him at left tackle and moving Tyler to left guard, then it also makes sense that they would not want to use a second-round pick on a guard. Would anyone expect Torrence to beat out Tyler or Zack? Now, Torrence obviously would have given us a better backup plan for when Tyron misses games, but the more obvious need was tight end, where we were/are unsure if we had a starter to replace Schultz. It's not the company line. No, the more obvious need was at guard. We needed a starting guard. Tyron getting injured is a certainty. Tyron should be thought of as a swing tackle that can start when he is healthy. We could have even cut Tyron if we wanted. And he certainly wont be here next season. So taking the guard was definitely the bigger need.Although I think relying on Tyron is fool's gold if they had an eye on starting him at left tackle and moving Tyler to left guard, then it also makes sense that they would not want to use a second-round pick on a guard. We'll see how it all turns out.

Steele was also hurt and he may not be here next year either.
Ferguson is ready to step in as the #1 with or without Schoon in there. Its nice to have two good TE's no doubt. But having 5 healthy quality Olineman is the most important thing to an offense.
LOL..............thats quite the creative blow off answer. I have to give you credit for that one. Well McGovern was one of our guards for 4 years and the Bills just signed him in the offseason. The same Bills team that drafted Torrence.Torrence doesn't fit their offense.

I mean, what could the Cowboys ever want with a big strong powerful guard?
The only problem with the Packers is they're irrelevant.Flat feet is the leading cause of Plantar Fasciitus because the plantar fascia gets stretched away from the heel when bearing weight. The end.
Moving on....
Camp is going fantastic in Green Bay. Big crowds as usual, and the team is looking great. Can't wait for the first day in pads. Also looking forward to Bill Belichick and the Pats coming to TitleTown for joint practices on August 16th and 17th. Joint practices are the best practices.
I actually believe that, too. The guy runs great routes.Bobby Belt said he could be a 1k yard receiver if they wanted him to be.
Nothing to worry about. Bobby Belt said so.
