Did the Cowboy's even consider him? That's the problem with us amateur evaluators, we see tape and read other non-active 'experts' opinions. Schmitz, like Torrence doesn't appear to get to the second level.
You can see what McClay was looking for ynd probably how we plan to use our running game (and then we draft Deuce )
Im definitely no college expert. I typically study the positions I want them to take and think they need.

However, I will never assume these guys get it all right as they dont. Still hard to stomach the #1 guard in the draft falling to us in the 2nd round and the Cowboys passing on him as it was our #1 need.

And Im not buying this "not good for our scheme" nonsense. Thats why we passed on TJ Watt.

Cowboys definitely had a plan for the 2 TE sets and targeted getting a TE. 2nd round is usually the round they reach for need and so it becomes the round they usually screw up.

Attacking you, how? By stating the facts? You used evidence? Huh? Your idea of citing evidence is providing a link to a physical therapist’s personal website talking about PF?

Fuzzy, stop. It’s okay to be wrong or say “I don’t know“ at some point. That shows humility and character. You pretending to be correct at everything while demeaning others is not the right way to go about it.
I just wrote that there was uncertainty regarding the definition of PF and have been doing so for days. I have cited much more than a licensed professional. Places like NIH for example.

Compare that to the single cite you found that said PF contained some muscle like cells. At least my citations were direct and definitive.

As for casting aspersions: you've gone with the classics like you can never admit when you are wrong which is the definition of pigheaded. Another one is the I talk like I am educated which is tantamount to the "trying to talk smart' or 'you are not as smart as you think you are' lines.

Frankly your response to me is cliche. I make someone feel insecure and out it comes.

Wrong again, Fuzzy Bear! Your original comment stated "Foot sprains are an overtraining issue." You didn't provide any evidence that this is the only cause of PF, especially with Schoonmaker's history of the injury. I'm a physical therapist, so I know it isn't the only cause. You tried to speak definitively like the injury was caused by the predraft process, which you have absolutely no evidence of. I asked you why everyone didn't develop PF from the predraft process, and then you proceeded to "do what you do," which is rationalize your argument in an irrational way and double-downed. You gave me a link to a website from a university, and I showed you another link from another school stating the opposite of what you showed me.

Your actions with me and others on this forum exactly describe what you were saying about being "pigheaded." If it looks like a rat, smells like a rat...

The name Shoonmaker will soon be spoken with the same reverence reserved for Bennett, Gathers, Escobar, Schultz, Swaim and Jarwin.
The Cowboys drafted a couple of TEs the previous year who contributed and have a converted OL showing some skills as a TE.
I didnt get the rationale to take a 25 year-old TE with a chronic foot issue when there was a more pressing need for a OG, which wasn’t addressed until the later rounds. I think Shoonmaker was a rash pick by the FO.

I never said it was the only issue. What I said was not exclusionary. Nice strawman.

i demonstrated that he was overtraining and that overtraining is a cause of PF. That is it and it does fit. you are not arguing that though.

If you want to present that he had flat feet, was wearing poor footwear or another cause then go for it.

And you may be a physical therapist; you may not be. I am not going to ask you about your personal information and neither should you ever post it. I do think it is funny that you tell me that a verified licensed physical therapist is a poor source when that is what you are citing as your authority though.

Normally when I talk to doctors they do not just say, "I am a doctor just listen to me." They explain and support their arguments with facts and logic and there is no need to appeal to authority. In fact, I know health care professionals are trained to not do just tell patients to listen solely on their authority. Yet here you are doing just that.

LOL there's so much rambling and frustration in your words. You spoke in certainty of what his cause was, oh but NOW it's not exclusionary. You lose.

I don't need to prove anything to you; I know I'm a PT. That isn't "personal information." You won't find me posting my SSN or address, so you lose because we were comparing legit SOURCES and DATA pertaining to PF; you chose some blog on a PT's website. You lose.

I never said "I am a doctor just listen to me." I exactly did support with evidence and you chose to ignore and do what you do. Instead of acting like the end all be all, you could ask since it's what I do for a living. That's cool though; stay on your high horse. You lose.

I get why you are frustrated. I have stated I do not find you credible and you want to be considered an authority. As I have said your response is routine and sorry, sport, I just don't find you credible.

That also doesn't make sense as I posted multiple causes in demonstrating that overtraining was a cause. I recall you saying it was not.

But have fun keeping score and claiming victory.

Dude, you stated it was THEE cause of HIS PF. What don't you understand? I don't care if you find me credible or not; I'm calling you out because I KNOW you're not credible.

Foot sprains are an overtraining issue. This is an issue with the predraft process and not the player. He will be fine.
This is what I wrote @TheSport78. Shall we discuss the meaning of the article "an" as opposed "the"?

Do you have evidence of another cause btw? The reason I ask is because there is no doubt that he was training far more than what is usual ie overtraining.
