Love drafting perpetually injured players in round 2. It's a tradition at this point.
Exactly. 2nd round picks need to contribute year 1.I don't expect to see much from Schoonmaker this season which makes him a poor draft pick in the 2nd round. Maybe next year.
Anyone that says given the circumstances that they would do this pick again is a moronI'll eat crow if i'm wrong but yeh bust. The picked sucked when it was made and it looks worse every day.
Sadly, yes. I agree.Redshirt
Me too. Have tried to be optimistic about this guy but it’s hard. Should’ve went offensive line in round 2. Would be nice to have guard O’Cyrus Torrence getting a look right now with Zack Martin out.Welp great 2nd round throw away pick. Still mad like I was on draft day.

PUP or short term IR ?Sounds like it’s going to be a while.
Only Schoonmaker was not as prolific a college prospect as Sean Lee, Jaylon (pre-ACL) and Diggs were .Our history of drafting injured and crappy 2nd rounders
Smith
Lee
Schoonmaker.
On and on and on.
The only 2nd rounder I remember who was good is Diggs.
Dec - he actually had to have both legs amputatedAug— “doesn’t sound too serious”
Sept— “no timetable for return”
Oct— “he’s working back into a return”
Nov— “he needs surgery and we’re putting him on IR”
That is supposed to be a secret, Oscar Goldman!Dec - he actually had to have both legs amputated
