I guess you should stop trying to explain what you dont know then.

The #Cowboys are expected to interview their own OC Brian Schottenheimer for their vacant head coaching job, per me and @SlaterNFL. Well-respected in the building, Schottenheimer has been an OC for more than a decade. Intriguing option to take the next step.
I just posted proof that any of these stories that leaked out over the weekend and as of yesterday was absolutely false they had not had any contact no conversations no interviews and nothing is set up formally up to this point my statements are 100% true they're 100% valid when someone says they're expecting the interview show me the proof because I don't see any formal interview set up and I posted a damn story that was put out last night by scepter they have had no contact with schottenheimer whatsoever the Raiders did but the Cowboys have not... So I can keep posting my point was stop making this a story until it is it's fake news until it's not it's literally all speculation you can't post rumors as fact and I will squash it every time... So when I'm making my statements yesterday and today it's still valid they have not had contact with schottenheimer about the head coaching job FACT

Why? Why is he even a consideration? What has he accomplished in Dallas?
Brother, you’re thinking about this all wrong. To the guy who picks head coaches in Big D, all the normal big reasons you hire a HC are not a big consideration to him. Picking a HC who gives us the best chance to win a championship is not even in his top 3 considerations.

In fact, the criteria for the Jones head coaches are based on these 3 critical points:
  • Jerry’s personal comfort is most important. Does the candidate allow Jerry to have complete freedom to say or do whatever he chooses without any pushback? (MOST IMPORTANT CRITERIA)
  • Is the head coaching candidate willing to be here on a cheap deal, loaded with incentives rather than cash.
  • Is the head coaching candidate low in charisma and have little or no media savvy?
If the candidate can meet these three criteria, they are a serious candidate. If not, forget it.

The idea that Jerry Jones would pick a head coach that would seriously give us the BEST chance to win a championship is not that important to him. He doesn’t think like a man driven to win. He is driven to always be the center of the Cowboys universe.

Except it's being reported they are supposed to interview him now.

Like I said VEGAS IS USUALLY DIALED IN. I didn't speak in absolutes at any point. Just stated a fact.

You are wrong point blank, and for some odd reason needed to be a d bag about it. Just own it.

I know, the Deion talk through me off the trail, but it looks like status quo again.

And again until that happens until I see something formal then my statements over the last 48 hours about schottenheimer were absolutely true and you telling me I shouldn't be talking about it no you shouldn't be talking about something that possibly could happen I'm talking about something that has not happened... Vegas does not know I'm sorry they're not dialed in they're making an assumption because he was an assistant here and because we have not yet hired a head coach and because he did interview with the Raiders they're making a leap that it's possible that he's being considered here but nothing official from anything of any official valid sources from the star in the front office has mentioned his name at all and I'm sticking to that until the interview happens so you can't tell me that i'm wrong whe....has been for not it was all fake news...

To add to your point, Jerry discounts coaching. He literally believes that players win games and who coaches doesn't matter. That's why he dragged college football legend Barry Switzer out of retirement to babysit Jimmy's team on the sideline. He despises the coaching profession. I think he views them as a necessary inconvenience.

he really wishes he had been a coach and by the time he really thought about it it was too late and he has been taking that envy, jealousy etc out on everyone since then.

I've never been a fan of a Belichick or Sanders hire, but bringing them in would be so much more interesting and inspiring than what else we're hearing, lol.

He wanted McCarthy back, so why not just take someone from McCarthy's staff?

He runs the team like we've won the last 10 Super Bowls and anyone who has worked here is dipped in gold, he's either senile or openly adversarial to the fanbase.

looks like he is, Brian Shottenhiemer the OC who doesnt call plays, My company holds the requirments for hire more valuable than the owner of the worlds richest sports franchise does for his teams HC...
