What have they won? What have the eagles just won? Try thinking sometime.Lol, constantly calling our team losers doesn't make sense.

You are going backwards. What have they won? What have the eagles just won? Try thinking sometime.
Weak....response.You are going backwards.
Shotty doesn’t need to wait. He sees him every day putting in the work getting stronger and better.I think you would hear more, "he's putting in the work to make a 2nd year leap and has made progress" rather than flat our squashing the guy or giving them a glowing review. We don't know much about Schott, but hopefully he's being sincere on Guyton's progress because that would be promising. I would still wait to training camp and preseason before assessing his actual progress.
You must not have watched his entire PC because was asked about Guyton near the end. Earlier in the PC he was talking about Booker and the OL and mentioned that Guyton has looked great. That’s all he said.He didn't have to say anything. He brought it up.
I think understandably so, since he had never played LT before and was facing some of the best pass rushers in the league. Not committing one ridiculous penalty after another would be a huge improvement. He led the league in OL penalties, in spite of sitting out half the snaps.
He didn’t say a lot. You really get carried away with things. He didn't have to say as much as he said. He said a lot.
High expectations and expecting a 1st rounder to not be the league's worst aren't the same thing.I think understandably so, since he had never played LT before and was facing some of the best pass rushers in the league.
Not sure why people had so high expectations year 1.
What I tend to put a lot into is when coaches get into specifics talking about a player. Generic phrases like "playing at a high level" and "going against great players" is just frequent coach speak in my mind. Zimmer was really good about this last season. You could almost always read into what he really thought about players because he was just a football guy that talked about very specific aspects of a players practice habits, what they were working on in terms of footwork, how guys up front were doing with hand placement, etc. That's the stuff I can start to buy in when I hear it.I think you would hear more, "he's putting in the work to make a 2nd year leap and has made progress" rather than flat our squashing the guy or giving them a glowing review. We don't know much about Schott, but hopefully he's being sincere on Guyton's progress because that would be promising. Yeah the issue isnt that Guyton struggled in 2024, its was how bad he struggled.High expectations and expecting a 1st rounder to not be the league's worst aren't the same thing.
He was not a 1st round LT. He was a 1st round RT. Not the same thing.High expectations and expecting a 1st rounder to not be the league's worst aren't the same thing.
Almost everybody apparently.Everybody knows that our edge rushers do not suck.
Don’t cloud the false narrative with factsLaremy Tunsil led the league with 19 penalties.
He’s huge homer. Hard to get him to say anything negative about the team.Almost everybody apparently.
Pretty sure no one has pads on, so I guess all reports are worthless.with no pads on kudos to Guyton!
Everybody knows Mountaineer Cowboy is a negative poster regardless of subject and is exclusively negative, without exception. So Fowler and his 10.5 sacks for Washington last year doesn't count,Marshawn Kneeland and Sam Williams isn't enough of a test for the kid.It would be nice to see a smart analysis and response once in a while instead of vague negativity. They’re not very good. So, this “everybody” you speak of is false.
Micah doesn’t suck, but he’s off podcasting.
I’m gonna go with they suck more than Guyton has vastly improved.
I don’t think you’re too far off.
I’m optimistic for significant improvement from both guys for several reasons:
- Steele was better before Solari arrived and I think he’ll be better after he’s gone.
- Steele showed improvement late last year.
- Guyton was a rookie last year.
- Guyton was switching from right to left last year.
- I think the new coaches will benefit the offensive line.
- A renewed focus on the running game should help.
