Schotty when asked about Ferg's play and getting Spann-Ford more opportunities

Im so tired of Schottenheimer. He cant speak up because he dosent have that locker. If he says anything about a player thru the medi they're going to use it as an excuse to revolt. If you read the players body language I think theyre done with Schottenheimer. I think they realize theyre wasting time and talent under him. Ferguson is fumbling at a worse rate than any other pass catcher by miles. I read he has like 8 fumbles in 181 touches, the list was full of running backs and the closest guy had like 700 touches compared to Ferguson 181. Its bad, really bad.
We are on the precipice of a "players only" meeting.

The Cowboys staff needs to visit Cowboys Zone more often.

They would get a different opinion about Ferg!
He looked like he might be something a couple years ago….but the past 3 or so, he’s been mediocre….enough is enough, put BSF in, we need improvement everywhere, even if it’s not massive. He’s worth trying even just for blocking for the run game.

I think we are handcuffed by the Jones once they pay up for medicore talent. Terrance Steele, Ferguson ect... so we are stuck with these players taking snaps from ligitt players who are much better. Thank you Jerry.

Thing is this showed up before the extension with Ferguson. Back when we had Pollard, he used to whiff on outside blocks then. I used to call it out in posts about this and people on this site just called me pessimistic hater.

I remember when we moved on Schaub and he a happy because I thought The same thing about him with his lack of physicality and then I realized that Ferguson wasn’t no better.

Even Schoon is average at best at blocking and that was suppose to Be his calling card coming from the big 10.

Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer when asked about Jake Ferguson’s play and potentially getting Brevyn Spann-Ford more opportunities:

“At the end of the day, everything’s being evaluated. As we look at this process, no one’s sicker than (Ferguson) about (his dropped pass that turned into an interception). We know what a great player he is, but at the same time, we’re evaluating all that stuff.

“I think we’ve proven that we’ve got really three really good tight ends. Those are the conversations that we’ll have in-house with these guys and make them understand. But if the performance is not where it is, then we’re going to have the conversation, explain to them why, show them the why. There’ll certainly be some adjustments or changes that come.

“But to be very, very clear, Jake Ferguson is a big, big part of what we’re building here offensively moving forward. He’s got a number of touchdowns and the next ball that gets thrown to him, I have no doubt in my mind that he’s going to catch it.”

Spann-Ford might be my favorite player this season...But..I don't know if he can make contested catches.

We don't want to see Schoonmaker...

What can coaches do this season...

Elevate Trigg?

Try Joe Milton at TE?

Try Bass at TE...He can block...Can he catch on 5 yard routes?

Play with 4 WRs...Camden Brown should be able to secure those 5 yard dump off passes that Ferg and Turpin can't hold onto...

Dak could bounce it off a lineman's head and catch it himself.

Throw to the Fullback.

"I think we've proven we've got three really good tight ends". The Raiders have Mayer and Brock Bowers...you're saying our tight ends are in that league?

OK, this is a circle jerk echo chamber. All they do it pat one another on the back.
