Schotty's offense will be different that MM. It will be more run based with more play action

The reason the ball goes to Lamb so much is JJ doesn’t want to pay him so much and not produce impressive stats.

There’s a reason this team doesn’t have a GM, it has nothing to do with “in house communication”, it has everything to do with not paying another staffer.

He’s got the highest paid player in history he’s gonna try and milk every once he can outta that contract. Not a chance he isn’t slinging the ball 30+ times a game.
If the running game remains anemic, passing will remain high.

A 2nd year for Beebe and Guyton under their belts and a serious additional RB could restore balance to the offense .....hopefully

Play action does not work when you can't run the ball.

If we draft a top running back, our run game will be improved by osmosis, if you want to give the credit to BS, go ahead.

Run it back with our same RB's from last year and I would love to see how play action is going to work.
Not only do i want to see who/what RB will be running the ball...

but i'm vastly interested to see how/what the run scheme design will be . .as well as our committent to it

Detroit Lions were an awesome pass design scheme off play action, ..but they never waved and drift away from running the ball.
..and did so with a constant dual attack , not just beat up and pound grind one solo back.

So long as Schott is pushing the ball downfield ..and scheming guys open in the pass game ala bunch formations and rub routes ...

something McCarthy's dink n' dunk offense is not gonna do ...

Nobody IMHO can say what his offense will be. He hasn't called a play in years and hopefully he has learned a few things.

We will not have the same RBs from last year. That's a waste of a thought just taking up extra space on this site.
