Schultz to command top TE money

Who do we have. Heard we drafted a cb Joseph and some here are high on him. But haven’t seen much of him.

Joseph may have the physical traits one would look for in a CB, he seems more interested in his rap career than his football career.

Lol. True. But Dak has carried this team on and off in wins. Whereas our tes have never made a winning play in 15 years. Lmao.

Why this knucklehead coaching staff is stuck in the exclusive 11 and 12 personell groups for 15 years is beyond comprehension

Carried this team......to what?????

He is not a top priority. His blocking skills are subpar and he a good (perhaps very good) pass catcher, but not elite. His lack of blocking is what would prevent me to even consider big time money, the Cowboys have other priorities.

Do you guys even watch football?

Schultz is leagues away from great

Provide examples of how you know that and be specific.

If he was a big time into fishing or hunting you wouldn’t be opening your mouth now would you?

This offensive scheme still looked like trash today

Sure we beat one of the worst teams in football that was using their backup QB.

But the defense got 4 turnovers.

The Giants forced us to beat them with our tes and why they played mediocre and we won the game had we been playing an avg team today we woulda got beat.

Releasing/trading Jarwin after this season saves Dallas $4.25M ($2M dead money) so hypothetically if Schultz is in the $8M-$10M/average season range based on current TE contracts, half his salary is accounted for by letting Jarwin go who is inconsequential on this team. Add to that the fact Dallas can save $5M by trading/releasing Anthony Brown ($1.5M dead money) and suddenly Dallas easily has enough to bring Schultz back (as well as another seeing as how Schultz's contract would be cap friendly in the beginning).
Why would you get rid of Brown? He's been very solid after being forced to play a position that is not his best, and has a very reasonable salary.

Jarwin is a waste of salary, agreed. Grossly overpaid.

Schultz is an average receiving TE. Plays smart. Can't block though and brings nothing special.

Did anyone see Andrews from the Ravens? There are easily a half dozen other TE's that are much better than Schultz - or Jarwin for that matter.

Honestly I would keep Sprinkle and get rid of the other two IF Dallas could draft a TE high that could actually be a playmaker.
