100%. He picks the players and the coaches.

And quit pretending like you are blaming players, when it is only 1.
You think Jerry is out there scouting players himself? Sure he gives the final stamp of approval and has players he likes in the draft but, as pretty much everyone who has ever worked with Jerry has said, if you can give a decent explanation for why something should be done, he'll usually agree, such as passing on Manziel who he thought very highly of. McClay is the guy basically running the draft, Stephen is negotiating the contracts, information is coming from all over the organization as to FA's we should target, we all know this. Jerry isn't out there doing all that at 82 years of age. Again, he just stamps his approval on it. So yeah when players aren't preforming, at some point you do have to put the blame on the players.

And yes, I am putting a majority of the blame on one player. The guy who plays the most important position on the team, the guy who is supposed to be the leader, the guy who is making more than everyone else. When you fail at the same thing year after year in more and more embarrassing ways, then it's time for you to be replaced. That is a large fault of Jerry, giving people too many chances. And yeah, Dak needs to go. I wish him luck in his future endeavors.

We all know this??? The how in the hell did Trey Lance get on our team??? He said he made the decision all by himself. He did not have time to ask for anyone's opinion.

Do most employers complain or praise their owner in public??? Pretty sure we'll know the answer to that question.

You can thank Jimmy Johnson for that.
Oh ok. That's not a good argument, you can say that about every franchise basically. Kansas city can thank Reid, patriots thank Bill, Eagles thank Pederson, etc

How many people complained about working for Jerry in the past? Jimmy? That's about it.

I will never understand your burning rage and hatred of a backup QB. McCarthy had previously evaluated Lance and given him high marks and praise which in my book is basically approving of him being on the team. It's not like Jerry just came at that from out of nowhere.

Previous evaluations and current evaluations are not the same thing. Nice try though.

Aikman never had anything bad to say after Jimmy left. Ok.

He's only been in the league a couple of years and barely played so I'm not sure there would be much difference in his evaluation pre and post draft. And again, the guy is a backup, not the starter.

And congrats, you found someone out of thousands who doesn't like Jerry due to his treatment of his favorite coach. From what I remember Aikman didn't have any issues staying with the Cowboys after Jimmy left so he couldn't have hated it that much.

"Ultimately, the reason I retired after 12 years was because I felt that I had worked hard to develop some level of credibility and respect within this game. And I felt like that was being jeopardized by decisions that were being made beyond my control within the organization, and I didn’t want to be a part of it anymore."

No mention of Jones specifically.

If this 2 year deal thing is true they’re basically telling Dak you’re going to be a transitional QB for us.

I bet that hurts the ego.

Go be the best Raider you can be, Dak.

I know, Jerry does not make the decisions right?
He makes some decisions. Do you think he is the only one making decisions? And regardless of what Aikman said, he was wrong. He was a QB. A player with no say in the organization. He retired because of injuries and age. If he still had it he could've played elsewhere.

Aikman was a shell of himself near the end. Concussed and immobile.

So you know why Troy Aikman retired and he does not. Ok, if you say so.

Yes. It was a lie that it was due to concussions.
This was a lie: "Ultimately, the reason I retired after 12 years was because I felt that I had worked hard to develop some level of credibility and respect within this game. The Cowboys want a short term deal because, during the length of his contract, Dak will be getting approximately 25% of the entire Cowboys salary cap per year.

Lamb gets about 12-13%. You can pencil Parsons in for about 15% of the total cap.

More than half of the entire Cowboys salary cap will go to three players.

Then they have to sign at least three more current Pro Bowlers, Ferguson, Bland, and Tyler Smith.
