You’re taking all their fun away.Guys, can we let this team play one darn season under this coaching staff before we shoot them down?
A good thread to figure out who’s ignorant about football ^^ and who isn’t.OK I know people have been wanting Jerry to step back for years now, but he needs to step in and stop this B.S.
I mean what the hell are some of these coaches going to be released at final cut downs? Is this an audition type of deal or what?
Agreed fellow CT dude. Not a bad move. People think the Cowboys are hiring too many coaches, but in reality Tolzien and Rob Davis are the only ones taking positions that didn't exist in Dallas last year. And both have enough familiarity with McCarthy to help communicate with the rest of the staff and the players.
We wanted a new culture. 18 of the 22 current staff members are new. Mission accomplished, in my opinion.
Who shot them down?Guys, can we let this team play one darn season under this coaching staff before we shoot them down?
lol for real. “You get a job, you get a job!!”
The Sheriff.Who shot them down?
I wonder if some of these guys will be doing more analytics than coaching. Maybe Jerry said you can hire whoever you want as coaches but didn’t want to shell out for an analytic group so McCarthy has decided to hire a few extra coaches to do it.
And if it helps reach the players on the roster, who cares? The ratio of coaches to players is fast approaching 1:1.
Aren't we going a bit overboard with the excessive coaching hires?
Sorry my sarcasm affected your profundity. And if it helps reach the players on the roster, who cares?
Garrett's staffs were relatively sleek and we all see what that accomplished.
I don't care if they hire 53 coaches. It is not my money.
Yeah this isn't a big deal, it's the equivalent of grad asst at the college levelEvery team does this lol.
Tolzien's probably just going to be charting plays and helping with film. It's not like he's going to be teaching Dak mechanics.
