Add enough young legs and the RB situation will run it's own course. Not 1st round picks, no washed up wanna be or has beens.

A healthy Moreno at this point is no better than Randle/McFadden/Williams anyway, in my opinion.

Yet, two years ago, he rushed for more than 1,000 yards and 10 TDs at 4.3 yards per carry. How many of the backs we have can say that. Even last year he averaged 4.8 per carry, but like with Randle, his number of carries was so low, it's hard to tell if that means anything.

That sucks. This makes getting Lamar Miller almost impossible. Even if it wasn't in the cards it was nice to hypothesize about

What's it going to be then, eh?

Moreno had nothing to do with Lamar Miller. He was a free agent regardless, not in the Dolphins plans.

DeMarco Murray rushed for more than that two years ago and some people think he is a bum.

There appear to be a lot of bums out there. Fortunately, our scouting department has been able to find diamonds with lesser stats than those bums to keep our running game running.

If the Cowboys are stupid for not signing Chris Johnson and all the other available backs, I wonder.....why are all these "solutions" still available?? Are 31 other teams not in need either???

Didn't say they were stupid for not signing these available backs. What I'm saying is we act like these other backs suck while we're stupid enough to believe that ours don't, despite evidence showing these backs have had more success than the ones we have.

We're not in position to say any back can't be better than what we have ... because we just don't know if that will be the case.

I can't thumb my nose at Moreno or Johnson while giving a thumbs-up to McFadden or Williams because evidence supports Moreno and Johnson being the better backs. (Again, that doesn't mean they will be ... only that they have been.)

Forsett was re-signed. Not that I would take him, a career journeyman that had one spectacular year after many unspectacular years.

So you wouldn't take Forsett over what we've got now? At least he had one spectacular year recently. McFadden's had one "spectacular" year in his career and it was four years ago. Williams and Randle haven't had one yet and might never.

I really don't get this mentality.

We have a couple of the washed up, injury problems now. Don't need another one.

A 29 year old running back that up until last year had a total of 1700 rushing yards in his career and he only had one season where he didn't play 16 games so injuries were not an excuse. No thanks. Law of avgs say he returns to his career averages before he puts up another 1200+ yard season.
