Seahawk perspective of the game

The troll that wrote that is obviously a bad fan. He questioned the offense, he question the defense, he questioned arguably one of the best CB's in the game, he questioned the coaching staff (including his HC), he questioned the play calling and he questioned the lack of a running game. And all this coming off a SB win. No doubt about it, he's the worst kind of fan.

A lot of fans, Seahawks and other nfl teams, on reddit were impressed by our performance. It's really weird to see fans from all across the league giving us praise. Even fans from our NFC East rivals.

I wonder if we will see a trolling the nation entry btb.

I've said ever since the game ended I'm glad they didn't give Lynch the ball more. Don't know whats up with that but things could have looked differently if they would have got him going.......We still would have won though!

People also knew how to defend Jordan...in theory. How you did it in practice remains to be seen. Also we didn't play a ton of zone.

As to the fan post I disagreed with the "this felt like a loss" comment.

When they were up 10-0 and Romo had just been speared and stayed down over a minute....what was he doing/thinking?

Russell Wilson as a QB is nowhere near in the same league as Jordan as a basketball player.

It would be more comparable between Jordan and Peyton Manning.

Actually.. I think San Diego did it first. If you didn't see that game. It's a copy cat league - Marinelli just copied what worked. A lot like how they defended Vick in his younger days(pre-dog disaster)

The defense against Vick was to use a lot of zone coverage, blitz with corners and safeties and flush him out to his right.

I don't think you can really do that against Wilson because you don't want him out of the pocket...period. If you think he can't make a play out of the pocket, he does. Vick never had a read option like Wilson has either.

I didn't watch the SD vs. Seattle game. Wouldn't surprise me if that is how Wilson was defended, but it's very different from how Vick was gameplanned against.

Ok, I guess Seattle's loss can be attributed to "un-sensational offensive play calling".

They basically played on offense, defense and ST's as they always do. The same way they have been winning is the same way they played yesterday.

They just came into a more physical team that their defense were unable to make 1 dimensional. They're used to making other teams offenses 1 dimensional and then they can get the ball back and run it, ultimately control the clock.

We ultimately controlled the clock and made running and passing plays as we needed to. As usual because of our o-line, triangle of skill players and QB.

We are now just the more physical team because of our o-line and our never give up on the play, well rested defense. Other than ST's, taking bad penalties at the wrong time and turning the ball over, we beat them at their own game. Physical, ball control at it's finest. Make plays when you need them. We did that better than them all game.

Otherwise the turnovers and bad timing penalties would have ensured them the win.

We won because they could never impose their will on us even in that very favorable environment for them. But we could impose our will, running on them. I'm not so sure either team was totally "out coached" because they caught us on ST's and found ways to get us to turn the ball over on offense and ST's.

Defensively we knew their brand of football, our offense kept us fresh and we played to the script we had to play to harness their offense from controlling the ball.

We're outright 90's esque on our o-line and that's what it's coming down too.

Pete Carroll was saying days before the game on how his current team resembles our teams of the 90's. Well, we remembered how to play that way again and are just better than them at it and it showed. We were clearly the superior team yesterday and they are still very darn good.

It's like Michael Irvin said weeks ago. When we play solid mistake free football, we will be unstoppable because of how our offense can control the game and allow our defense to stay fresh and play fast and physical.

Our ST's needs work and if Dwayne Harris can't get his fumbilitis fixed we need to go another route. Murray didn't cough it up and hopefully that's behind him. Romo needs to not give that 1-2 turnovers a game to the other team.

Otherwise we just spend the game imposing our will now. Hopefully the Free injury does not hinder our style.

He was likely licking his chops, hoping Romo was done for the day and saying "same ole Cowboys". He must have meant after Dallas slapped Seattle silly with 17 unanswered points.
