Winning 17 of the last 18 home games will build some confidence.

I would like to see our OL have success against them. It would be a big accomplishment for us, IMO, if Murray could run for a hundred on them. I would like to see us not give up any extra yardage after 1st contact. That would be a big thing as well. I don't want to see Beastmode hitting the hole and running over our LBs and having our DBs having to make plays.

They should be confident. But we are too.
I'm more interested in seeing what they say after we beat them, more so than now. :)

When you win 17 or 18 over a three year period, by an average of 14+ points, it's probably ok to be a little bit cocky.

At home, yes, on the road, no.

Didn't they have home field throughout the playoff last year and didn't they destroy the Broncos away from their home field as well? You have to win road games too in order to secure the top seed. They're more vulnerable on the road as any team is, but they are a great team regardless of where they play. Besides, the Cowboys are playing in Seattle, so they should be confident about their chances in this game.

Glad that they are confident.

Even more glad that it has absolutely zero impact on the outcome of the game.

People forget how confident this fanbase was during the 1990's SB years. We thought we could win every week and we usually did.

It won't be easy to go there. The defense might not be quite up to last year's super bowl standards, but they've allowed:

Green Bay to score 16 points
Washington to score 17 points
and Denver to score 20 points

Now Green Bay wasn't clicking in their first couple of games and they didn't challenge Sherman at all... but they would probably do better if they played them now.
Washington just got some lucky deep balls or it would have been an even longer night for them... even with Harvin getting 3 TD's called back. Change that and it really is a severe blowout.
Denver, I didn't get to watch, so I don't know... but it was a close game.

None of those teams are running the ball like Dallas has been but it'll be difficult against the Seattle D.

Oh well, Dallas has nothing to lose. They can go in and play loose and take some chances and if they start playing well against Seattle, the pressure will really start to build on them. The big thing is that Dallas can match their physicality, which is why they get on top of teams to begin with. I don't think Dallas will be intimidated by either the noise or the physical play from Seattle, so there is a chance.

None of these teams are really decent rushing teams. I mean, that may mean nothing but it could mean everything.

Of these 3 teams, the highest ranked rushing team is Washington at #19. If we can rush the ball against this team, it could be a different ball game for us. If they bring their safeties down and play single high, I gotta believe we can have some success against them if we protect Romo.

Yep, and it could change a lot for that Seattle D. It does say to me that their #1 ranking against the run isn't quite what being #1 usually means. I mean, they may be as good as having the best run D indicates... but they haven't really been tested yet on the ground, IMO.

Like Parcells once said: "As they say in Texas... We're Fixin' to find out."

Seahawks are the defending champions and are facing a team that had the worst defense last year, and are 3-0 against Dallas at home since 2005.

They have reason to be confident.

that is true but I'm pretty sure if this were reversed, fans here would be scared, saying fans are too overconfident etc

Based on those lopsided predictions of C-hok victories, I truly hope this turns into their Pickle Bowl.

I would expect them to be confident. Why would they not be? Their team is the defending champions and they're damn good. Of course they confident.
