But who would you have in there over Seattle as one of your top 6 or 12 teams, who isn't already in? They had a better record than any non-playoff team, so they didn't get in just because they were a division winner. And of course they looked very good last week.
I guess it would be hard to say unless the system was overhauled. Take Seattle out of that weak division and put them in the NFC east, they likely finish in 3rd place...move Washington to their division and Washington probably easily wins 11-12 games in that division. That's what I'm saying...Anyways it's a moot point, the NFL will never change the system, the owners love this system, the gm's love this system, win the division you are in. At the very least maybe the seeding could be done based on record, didn't the Giants have a better record than Seattle. No matter what, these 2016 playoffs have been uncompetitive at this point...hopefully Dallas makes Sundays game uncompetitive early on...lol
