I have to say: that's a play where I HATE replay overturning it. Great effort, sure the ball hit the turf some but that's a catch all the way up to CFB and just a great effort. Instant Replay takes some of the fun away from the game IMO. Let them play.

I didn't like the call because it seemed like without the contact from the defender he would have had a cleaner catch. But they didn't throw the flag, likely because they thought it was a completion anyway

Nope, wrong choice. Not making it later is no better than not making it now. But if you miss it now, you know you need 3 scores and you can make better decisions. Again, the goal isn't to *seem* to be in the game as long as possible. The goal is to win, and going for it earlier gives you a better chance of winning.

Going for it and failing gives you a worse chance of winning. It would have been the wrong decision. You are in a very tiny minority.

Don't forget we had to survive the NFC East. A division that could have sent 3 teams to the playoffs. Cowboys battled tested going into the GB game. We are a very tested team. The "The Next test.." threads can be proof of that.

Going for it and failing now hurts your chances of winning LESS than if you wait until later, because you have more information now. I know I'm in the minority, but I'll take the minority of people who have studied this extensively over the majority who just want to put off the moment of truth until it's too late.
