Seahawks vs Panthers

Carolina sucks. We'd be up 50 points against these scrubs with Romo at QB.

And Manziel will lead us to the chumpionchip. 2016!

o_O I don't know how close we are anymore. We are not as good as Carolina or Arizona right now, and we would struggle with Greenbay and Seattle.

This is the main issue. There has really been nothing new in Dallas since 2007 - maybe the 4-3 from the 3-4. Players have come and gone but similar players in the similar schemes.

Meanwhile you see teams go from 3,4,5 wins to building solid teams and really be dominating. Seen it with SF, Sea, Ari, now Carolina.

I have always said that most people on this board really dont watch other teams and their approach and growth. If they did, they would be much more frustrated with the overall product, scheme and prospects. Overall its a pretty, slow, methodical and blase scheme on both sides.

I tend to bet on a lot of games and whether you want to put a label on it or not, you try to be honest and have a somewhat educated guess when you lay money on teams - at least I do rather than flipping a coin

Seattle was lucky to make it this far it took a missed 25 yard FG by Minn last week for them to advance. Their luck has apparently run out.

Absolutely. Well said. Not studied but always used though.

Seattle had Hitchens ranked highly! See?

Seattle goes from SB champs, to SB shocked, to Playoff Lucky then Embarrassed....

That's mostly how it goes though. It's hard to repeat, but history indicates it's even harder to lose the SB and then win it the following year. I think only 2 teams have done it.

Window is only so long.

Agree. Thats the heartbreak of our 90's loss to the Niners when we had our chance for 3 in a row, and the reality of it's a short window even when you seem to be ascending or dominant

Windows are basically finite 4-5 year windows - but they made it to the NFC Championship in 2012, so the parabola was still in effect.

Sustainability requires an elite QB and great coach - Brady/Belicheck is obvious. There are others in the discussion, but I think Rivera/Newton is going to be tough for a few years

Sure it is.....like the crud he said on Thanksgiving, "I'd try to get the wave going but everyone went home" or something to that effect. Is he a good player, yes but the dude needs to learn some humility and show some class.

Oh he's got class. The problem is so many are so far out of his class they can't see it. Cam is a winner. If you don't like him then don't. He is having fun. You can either join in or be a hater.

Rivera has relied on the "we're the small market team no one respects" mantra all season to motivate his troops.

Will be interesting to see if they have a letdown against a smaller market team that everyone expects to lose.

I don't mind him unless he's doing his stupid look at me superman celebrations. At those times I'm hoping a 250 lb. LB takes his head off.

If Cam were say.....Russell Wilson, I would have no problem with him. But he acts like a Baffoon.

Call me crazy.....but Seattle is gonna put a scare in Carolina before this is over......
