Didn't Mincy have more sacks than Ware had in his last season as a Cowboy at RDE?

Mincy had 6 sacks in 2014 which is the same number Ware had his last season with the Cowboys. Ware was injured in week 4 and was never 100% the rest of the season. Prior to his injury he put up 4 sacks and an int in the first 4 games until he got hurt. The defense was all screwed up in 2013 ranking as the 3rd worst defense in NFL history statistically. Ware had nothing around him Spencer only played one game and the Cowboys had yet to add Lawrence and Melton.

Although i'm interested to see what most of these guys have, we need more than contributors. We already have them. We need performers, guys who are better than what we already have.

I agree but I don't think its realistic for some young rookie late round draft picks to be "performers" off the back. I'll take some solid contributors who can someday be solid performers week in and out.
