Sean Lee Helped Off Field ***Left knee injury per JG***

I don't believe anyone would rather be "right" on a freaking message board about the durability of a player than have Sean Lee starting 16 games this year. Some of you guys get so caught up in our debates you forget we're all Cowboys fans.

You are not new here and actually believe that. I've seen it too many times and I'm seeing it right now.

That sucks. You are sort of in a catch 22 when you resigned him to a big deal. A lot thought it was a good deal and it certainly would be if he could stay healthy. Although with his injury, it probably would have been best to let him play out his contract and prove his health. I don't want to blame it on Jerry because you really want to lock up your key players under 30. Although this may prove to be another poor decision by Jerry. I wonder how much money you could have saved if you waited out both Romo and Lee? It would be risky but Dallas isn't going to lose out to a player they really want to retain.

Lets hope for the best. This defense is a mess even with a healthy Lee.

His deal was incentive laden.

ACL/PCL/MCL....which one can he come back from by the playoffs?

I see you looking at me with lust in your eyes.

Obviously I hope he's okay. However, I am ready to have another player step up. I wouldn't have Sean Lee in my plans for long term. I would just assume he's unavailable. Sometimes the body can't handle what the mind is capable of understanding. Sean Lee's football IQ is off the charts in my opinion...he's physical ability is really low.

God Bless Mr. Lee and get well soon.

What is sad is that he's our best defensive player when healthy.

He is one of the better defenders in the league. He may not be the best linebacker in the league but he doesn't need to wait long before his name is called. It is a shame he has not been able to put together a couple of full seasons.

Not to mention this is about as weak of a method to base prognostication skills on as anything. He's shown the tendency to get nicked, it is practically fact by this point.

Sean, Miles Austin just called and he wants you to replace his reputation as an injury magnet.

All you can really do at this point is laugh. There is a higher power that does not want to see the Cowboys succeed.

No one forced us to pick this guy. The writing was on the wall that this would be happening which is why all 32 teams passed on him in the 1st round when he was a top 10 talent.

Using Jason's logic, all these injuries should make Sean a very young 29 next season.

No. Using Jason's/Stephen's logic, he better be All-World in the next couple of seasons or he'll find himself looking for work elsewhere. We aren't hyped about keeping guys well past 30 years old anymore unless they're a low-impact position like WR or QB. Maybe DB.

Bruce Carter played his best ball in the middle, I would like to see him return to the middle.

I'm not back pedaling. I don't see what's hard to understand. Who do you think of when you think manliest men in NFL history? You think Dick Butkus and Bronco Nagurski. You think guys who had blood dripping down their face as they body slammed someone on the field. What about modern moments? You think Romo throwing with a obvious broken rib, shedding tacklers, almost going down, then throwing a bomb to Dez to win the game. I'm not questioning Sean Lee's man card in life. If he pulls a Ray Rice I would. But I'm questioning his man card on the field.

Lee has played hurt. No one can play injured. Is Brian Urlacher a man? He was hurt plenty. How about Troy Polamula? The guy isn't trying to get hurt to miss games. Gimme a break.
