OTA's too physical, Martin's too physical, just plain bad luck; call it what you want, the fact is EVERYONE knows Lee isn't making it through a full season so maybe it's a good thing for the team it happened so early.

Get well Sean and go find another line of work. NFL football just doesn't agree with your body.

Its not about the outcome. Its about not putting the team in that situation. And this situation with Lee.

Who said anything about the outcome?

You keep talking about the NFLPA looking at this as if it's something unique when in fact, it's not. And there have been recent cases where teams "hit" just like the Cowboys did and in one case, an injury resulted (a guy was shoving Hynoski on a block and he hit another player and hurt his knee), and there were no punishments from the league office.

So stop acting like a fine is likely a foregone conclusion here. It's like you are a masochist and almost enjoy talking about negative things surrounding the Cowboys.

That's not how randomness works. You could flip a coin ten times and come up heads. That doesn't mean the next ten will be tails.

Karma-wise the kid deserves a break, no pun intended

That's how it works with large samples. Given enough time it would all work it's way back towards even.

Not that it really matters because we know that old players break down so the idea that injuries are purely random is flawed from that aspect.

Sad thing is that if it didn't happen now, probably would have happened during full-contact drills.

I don't doubt you, but I seriously doubt what we do is any different from what most teams do.

I've always been a little surprised at how much hitting there is in these padless practices, but I think all teams basically do it the same way.

IMO this is mostly the union making noises so the players feel that they're looking out for them.

Some guys are uncoachable in that regard.

Aint that the truth.

I think Lee is gone for the yr. Big disappointment. Bu atleast it happened now. Dallas can figure it out now. IMO i'd love to see Carter play the Mike. Guy was a monster playing ILB in the 3-4. Carter calls plays and adjustments when Lee is out anyways. Let Hitchens compete with Durant for the Will.

Gotta move on and play with what you got. No excuses.

Dont you watch NFL shows? NFLN ESPN NFL shows?

I have a life outside of this board and football. So I don't watch NFLN 24 hours a day like you apparently do. Interestingly enough, when you google variations of the NFL cracking down on contact in OTAs, you get no results. You'd think if it was such a big story as you say, there'd be more in print information on this.

That being said, you are going to look pretty foolish if this results in nothing.

Yeah i agree. Just with whats happening with KC and now this. I think they will look into it. I dont know if anything will come of it. But the NFL wants to crack down on this.
