Seriously? Subtract ware, lee and Austin. Witten and romo another year slower and you see 10-6? Definitely spiked kool aid

Ware was a six sack guy last year, Lee played half the year and Austin sucked. The team was on the verge of 9-7 and a divisional win, it's not that big a stretch.

As I said to the manager, we will beat the 9ers.

Reason being: "We will be healthy, that is why."

Welp I was wrong.

Man, I've been chugging the koolaid post-draft. I can see 9-7/10-6 now. This injury ruins everything though so I'm hoping for the best. I just want to see some playoff football bro.

I know man.. it has been waaaaaay too long. It's going to be longer now.

I think people have a different definition of a "man" when it comes to football players. A real man in the real world is a guy who pays his bills, takes care of his family, doesn't beat women, etc. But a real "man" in the NFL is a tough, scrappy player who will play with a broken rib and drive his team down field, etc. When we think manliest performances in NFL history, we think some late game Romo drives, some days where Emmitt is rushing for 200 yards in the playoffs with broken bones. That's the stuff that comes to mind. Sean Lee getting hurt by a rookie blocker in practice will not go down in the top 10 manliest moments in NFL history.

I don't mean to be a smarty pants, but you do understand that a broken rib is different than having a torn ligament in your knee?

Second, why are you comparing a regular season game with off-season workouts? Who is to say if this were a regular season game, Lee wouldn't play?
Third, I don't know how many people have the definition of a "man" as a football player who plays despite an injury that has crippled his body. Emmitt Smith didn't have knee problems. Furthermore, is Emmitt less of a "man" because he didn't play the second half of the Minnesota game when he broke his finger, a game that he could have broken Walter Payton's single season record? Was Emmitt less than a "man" when he didn't play the second half of the 1991 Monday Night game against the Commanders because he was overcome with the flu?

With all due respect, it's highly insulting for an arm-chair quarterback to determine what a "man" is in the case of a football player. They're out there playing against bigger, stronger, faster athletes. You're playing from your computer or watching on television.
