Let's say Lee is pretty much done with his career. I'm not saying he is or probably is, just for this hypothetical let's assume the head issue is something he can't play with anymore.

If that's the case, how do you view the use of that 2010 55th overall selection? Was it a good decision? Bad? Would you do it again knowing what you know now?

I will hold off on my own thoughts on this as I know how respected and influential I am around here and I want your honest take on it before I correct it.

I'm assuming this is in reference to drafting an already injured player...

Hindsight, some heal and become steals, others are just snake bit..

I'm kind of Luke warm to the pick at this point... you have a player who has played like 50% (guess) of his career but is an awesome player...

Just out of curiosity who was still available at 55 when the Cowboys picked? With a 2nd round grade?

thats the thing about Sean Lee. great leader and his passion is evident and he is smart. The QB of defense. however he just keeps getting hurt. Its a double edge sword with him. i dont know if he worth the baggage at this point. He just keeps getting injuried and it puts our LB corps at disadvantage because he takes up a spot we need to spend energy on someone that is more reliable. Love the guy though wished he didnt get hurt so much. Its hard saying these things about him because of that.

The only other guy within 10 picks of him who has had a good career is Golden Tate, and we had already picked Bryant in the first

The defense is much better with him on the field. It was evident last week. I think the health of Sean Lee for the remainder of this season will be just as important as the health of Tony Romo. We're just not a good defense without Lee and we're just not a good offense without Romo. We need them both if we're to have any chance this season.

He's missed more games than he's played in so despite him being a good player drafting him was a bad decision. Resigning him when we did was an even worse decision with him missing games every season. His second contract helped cost us Ware. Jerry should have made him play out his contract would have saved him some money. It was the fear of what we're seeing that caused Lee to fall in the draft.

Ben Tate, Brandon Spikes, Jon Asamoah, Emmanuel Sanders, Eric Decker, Navorro Bowman, Jimmy Graham are some of the names that went within the next round.

Lee could be the one jinxing the team the one season he doesn't play a single snap we make the playoffs. With him being out tomorrow if we win I wouldn't play him the rest of the season. His bad luck seems to rub off on the rest of the team.

He had an injury history prior, wasn't an ideal fit in a 3-4 when he was first drafted, and Navaro Bowman was a better player.

It was a bad pick.

I thought we had Bowman around the same area.

I'd do it again. He brings alot to the table (not just the operating one). He's had some misfortunes with injuries but you don't know how that player pans out at the next level.
