When it's all said and done Sean Lee is going to go down as one of the best defensive players ever to play for the Dallas Cowboys. The only thing that's going to keep this guy out of the HOF would be injury. I love this kid and his attitude.

I don't know about HOF but he is on track to be the best Cowboy Mike LB since Lee Roy Jordan.

Well, as much as I'm saddened by how things played out with Ratliff, I think it was pretty telling that only two Cowboys even spoke about him leaving and it was fairly bland.

It is what it is...

What saddens me is that it appears the guy's cheese done slipped off his cracker. I hope he gets help for the gremlins that appear to be buzzing around in his head. Ironically, what made him great as a competitor will also be his undoing.

I love how Lee said two things for the price of one:

He said,
“As teammates, all we care about is each other.’’

But veiled right below the surface was something else he said...without actually saying.
“And as an ex-teammate, all Ratliff cared about was himself."

Sean was too classy and diplomatic to come out and smash the Mouse. But he didn't have to. The comparison was clear.

Makes me wonder what happened in detail last year where Jerry and Rat got into it. Seems like Jerry wasn't just being a fool?

Lee takes on ratliff coming through the line and throws him for a loss.

Well done Sean.

Sad about Ratliff cause he used to be a good leader and teammate. Is this all because of that heated argument between him and JJ, or is there more to it? Anyways, good to see the truth come out finally because its not like Sean Lee would say anything close to what he said if it wasn't true. An old leader is gone, and a new one is born.

Love Sean Lee both as a player and a person. When we met him, he was nothing short of a gentleman.

As for Ratliff... Thanks for nothing, thief. Karma will bite hard.

Jeff Sullivan in his article today said there are whispers that there was another confrontation btw jerry and ratliff a few weeks ago.

Ratliff is a punk. Ok, Jerry is a POS but you're not playing for him. How can he do Ware and Hatcher like that? Smh he already got his money from Jerry. I hope he doesn't get another job.

How is Jerry a POS?

Seems to me like he kissed Jay's butt for years and treated him very generously. Even bringing the Idiot back after getting a dui shortly after a teammate was killed in a similar situation. I don't agree with many moves Jerry makes, but this is all about Ratliff being a thief and a scumbag.

I was speaking to how Rat probably sees Jerry.

But Lee isn’t into politics and when it comes to Ratliff — released last week by the after 11 months of tiresome inactivity only to claim good health now that he’s escaped from Valley Ranch — he does not sound like he’s into well-wishing, either. “When it comes to that situation,’’ Lee says, “we’ve moved on.’’
I'm betting there are many others in our locker room who feel the exact same way.

I really like that. Lee didn't overtly diss Rat, but he probably summed up what was going on in the locker room, made it clear that the team isn't hand-wringing about the whole thing and has washed their hands of the whole Ratliff situation. That's what a leader does.

I think this speaks volumes. I think players felt let down by Rat and it seems he wore out his welcome. Makes me wonder how long this has been going on with Rat. Does anyone if he had red flags coming out of college? The only person we heard that was hopeful that Rat would be back is Hatch. I wonder how he feels now.

He still wishe he was back, look Hatch and Rat had a REAL friendship off the field as well. That does not end just like that. But as an organization/team you have to move.

I heard the interview on my home this afternoon and Lee did indeed say that. But he also followed that up by saying that he doesn't know the entire situation and he doesn't have any details. It sounded like he made a general statement about preferring to play and lose with players who want to be there rather than play and win with those who don't want to be there. He was responding to how the question was asked which certainly led him to answer the question in a very particular way.

I love Lee and he is a leader in every sense but the media is trying to make something out of this by insinuating that Lee spoke directly to how Ratliff handled the situation. That certainly was not my impression when I heard his response.

thank you
