Lee is a stand up guy. Really pulling for him to find a way into the pro bowl. Jerry will take care of him we all know that. One of the few bright spots this year.

I want to call him a Pro Bowler so badly. I hope he doesn't get caught up in the OLB/ILB thing and gets named as a replacement for Keuchly or Davis.

The real test will be next year.

If he hits 80% of the snaps in 2016 his 2017 salary goes up from 7m to 9m.

DAL will probably pressure for a new deal even if doesn't reach the mark.

Cut him? When the hell was that even a consideration?

Actually until you mentioned it, I would have been willing to bet that no human being on earth had cutting Sean Lee next season on his mind.

i didn't say they would cut him next season. but if it comes down to the last year or two on his contract... i could see it being considered, especially if he misses more games.

From what I saw today, it looks like the whole defense decided not to play.

At least we know theres at least 3 players that don't only play for pay checks on this team.

I gotta admit, he is a better man than me...........I would have had my arse out on that field hobbling around on one leg for $2 million.

I love Sean Lee. But that was a huge mistake. Perhaps more than most, he's a play away from retirement.

And if that play were to have occurred in the 1st quarter he would have neither made the bonus nor been able to play ever again.

Wow that was dumb like he is better on half a leg than what was playing.I must admit I skipped the second half to wash car and work second job.I made
$100 and got wifes car spiffed up.The Cowboys in their present badness are not watchable.Fire Garrett and trade Romo and draft a new qb.At least we would be young
and bad.I can see that and I am not an x and o's man.We are AWFUL..

Let's hope your second job isn't an English teacher.

Says he didn't want to "disrespect his teammates" by playing when he knew he couldn't go, just for the money. Forfeited $2 million. Says "the Jones family has been very generous to me."

I know it's easy to say he hasn't earned his contract because of all the injuries, but still, don't see that kind of character often enough.

If we wanted character, we wouldn't have the Hardys of the world.

(an English teacher isn't a job, but teaching English is.)

Let me rephrase that, Professor of English: "Let's hope that your second job isn't as an English teacher." Or "Let's hope your second job isn't teaching English.";)

Hey, Sean, take the rest of the year off. Yeah, what a racket. Playing part-time and raking it in. Only in America (and Penn State, where the money comes behind the scenes.)
